Avu was about to order dinner when the door bell rang. Vaish opened the door

Sm1: Hi!

Vaish: Hi! (with a confused expression)

Sm1: Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. Myself Reem, Reem Sheikh. Your neighbor.

Vaish: Oh, ok come in pls.

Reem came in and sat on the sofa. Avu was still confused.

Reem: (forwarding her hand) Hi, I'm Reem, your neighbor. I live in the house beside yours.

They had a handshake

Avu: Hi, I'm Avneet, Avneet Kaur

Vaish: And I'm Vaishnavi Rao

Reem: Great!...actually I came here to give you your dinner

She handed them a tray 

Vaish: Oh how sweet of you, but why did you trouble yourself

Reem: Oh come on, I thought since you shifted today, you might be tired. So I came here to fulfil my responsibilities as a neighbour and a friend....So, friends?

Vaishneet smiled and nodded. They had a handshake.

Reem: Ok then, I'll take a leave. If you need anything, feel free to ask me.

Avu: Sure.Thank you so much!

Reem: my pleasure.

Reem left and Vaishneet had their dinner. They were tired so they slept early.

Next Morning

Vaishneet woke up and freshened. They met in the living room

Vaish: Aaj Starbucks chale? We can have your breakfast there.

Avu: Cool. Let's take Reem too. Agar woh free hogi then she could give us a tour of Los Angeles

They agreed and left for Reem's home. At Reem's, they rang the door bell. Some man opened the door.

Man: Yes?

Avu: Does Reem Sheikh live here?

Man: Yes, how can I help you?

Vaish: Could you pls tell tell her that her friends are here.

Man: Sure. Pls come in, I'll call Reem.

He went inside and a minute later Reem came.

Reem: Hi guys!

Vaishneet: Hi!

Reem: whassup?

Vaish: Came here to ask if you are free, We were going to Starbucks so, thought to take you along

Reem: Of course! I think it would be great if I could give you a city tour. We could go shopping too

Avu: Great!

Reem changed her dress and 10 minutes later, they left for Starbucks. They spent the day together, shopping and Reem gave them a tour of the city. Now they all were very good friends.

I week later

Avu's POV

It's been a whole week since we shifted to LA. I miss mom, but we also found a good friend here. The city is amazing. So many places to visit and so many malls. I like the place. We spend sundays with Reem since she is a photographer. She lives with her boyfriend, Jai. Today we have another meeting with the Nigams, since the project is starting.

We boarded our car and reached the " Nigam & Nigam co." office....
