Sid left. Reem turned to Avu with a huge smirk plastered on her face. Avu rolled her eyes and decided to escape

Avu: Keep staring at the wall. I'm going

She was about to leave

Reem: Take your dupatta at least

She shouted out to Avu. Avu grabbed her dupatta and quickly left. Reem followed her

In the hall, with all others. Sid came. He saw everyone, except Jai,  was busy with their partners, feeding ice- creams and admiring each other

Sid's POV

These people are busy in their own world

Reem and Avu came from behind

Reem: Pig, you ate all the ice- cream alone?

She shouted at Jai, who was licking the bowl

Jai: Oops, hehe!

Reem: I will not leave you!

He started hitting him on his arms

Avu: Reemie, you can get another one

Reem: I asked him to save it for me but this idiot cleaned it up

She said as he continued hitting him

Jai: Help!

Sid: Bada romance ka bhoot chadha tha na. Now suffer!

Avu: You guys can continue your fights. I'm going to have my food

She left

Sid: Me too

He followed her to the food stalls

Following night. In the Nigam mansion,

Sid was digging in his closet and all his clothes were thrown around. There was a knock on the door

"Come in"

Vibha aunty came in with a glass of milk but she was shocked to see the condition of the room

V.A: Aashu?

Sid: Oh it's you mom? 

V.A: What have you done to your closet?

Sid: Abababa...wo

V.A: It looks like the room just suffered an earthquake

Sid: Mummy I'm looking for my navy blue t-shirt? Have you seen it?

V.A: Accha? If I find it then be ready to face the consequences

(Who else get's this threat from their moms. I always get)

She went across the room and threw something on Sid's face. It was the t-shirt he was looking for. Sid smiled nervously like an idiot

V.A: Kya hoga is ladke ka?

She nodded her head in disbelief

Sid: Hehehe!

V.A: Done? These two hazel eyes of yours are Avneet's favorite. Don't waste them. Use it properly

He blushed 

Sid: I...I looked around properly but...

V.A: Now finish your glass of milk quickly. Till then I'll clear this mess

Sid: Eww milk? I hate it

V.A: "I hate it!" If you don't drink this milk, how will you get your energy? 

She mimicked him

Sid: Mom I'm not a kid

V.A: Waah! Gandagi karne keliye kid aur milk peene ke liye "I'm not a kid"?

Sid: Mumm...

He was shut by a death glare from V.A and forcefully drank the milk in one breath

V.A: I'm your mom that's why I care for you. Your wife will not tolerate all these tantrums and mess

Sid: Don't worry mom, nakchidhi is not like that

He realized what he said. V.A stopped cleaning and turned to him

V.A: Huh? Nakchidhi... Avneet right?

By now Sid was blushing. V.A was suppressing her laugh and smirking

Sid: I mean...

V.A: Such big dreams you have but you don't even confess your feelings

Sid pretended to be confused

V.A: Don't act in front of me. I'm you mom. I know everything about you

Sid: I...I don't understand

V.A: Don't you have a crush on Avneet?

Sid didn't reply as he was shy

V.A: Don't worry. I really like her too. She is going to be a perfect daughter-in-law

Sid: Mummy what are you sa...

V.A: Shut up and just listen to me. If you want your dream to come true, you need to confess your love for her. Ignoring the topic won't help. And remember, pretty girls don't stay single for long. Before someone else takes her away, you have to gather courage and confess. Rest is god's choice. Try atleast

Sid was sitting silent but giving thoughts to every word of hers

V.A: Now I said all I had to. Now the ball is in your court

She finished tidying his closet and snapped her fingers in front of him. Sid came back to his senses

V.A: Done! And don't you mess up again or else...

Sid: No, not at all mom. I'll not repeat it and thank you so much!

He hugged her and placed a kiss on her cheek. She hugged him back

V.A: You're most welcome! Good night!

Sid: Good Night!

V.A left

Sid shut the door and lied on his bed. Giving second thoughts to his mom's words, he unknowingly fell asleep
