The doorbell rang. Vaish opened the door because Avu didn't want to face Sid. But there were only Abhi and Vibha aunty. Everyone greeted each other and came inside. Avu came out from the kitchen and greeted them. But unintentionally her eyes were in search for her maddo

Vaish: Siddu didn't come?

Abhi: Actually he and Anushka are coming in the other car

Vaish: Oh ok. We wanna meet Anushka too, right Avu?

Avu returned a fake smile

Avu's POV

What was the need for him to bring Anushka? Can't he come alone?

Everyone continues chatting. Till then, the door bell rang again. Avu opened the door this time and it was Sid and Anu together, arms in arms. Already Avu was no more in a good mood. But since she and Sid always did a hug on meeting her, Sid was about to hug her but Anu pulled him back

Anu: Hi Avneet!

Sid: Hey maddo!

Avu didn't reply and just nodded with a fake smile. She led them to the family room where everyone else was sitting and they joined in

Abhi: Babe, meet Anushka. She's one of our very good family friends. And Anu, this is Vaish...

Anu: My bhabi right? Hi bhabi!

Vaish: Hi Anu! Nice to meet you

Anu: OMG...you're so much like how I imagined you. Abhi dada and Siddu had told me so much about you and Avneet

Vaish: Really?

Anu: Yep, last night we all were chatting together

Sid: I was so much fun. That carrom game, then dumb charades and...

Avu: Excuse me!

She suddenly excused herself and left to the kitchen

In the kitchen, 

She banged her fist on the countertop in anger

Avu's POV

Whyyy??? Why am I being the one to feel jealous? Why am I being desperate for him? Why should I feel sad? Let him live with that his Anu. He had so much fun with her

Anger was continuously erupting inside her. Suddenly, she felt someone approach the kitchen ad quickly engaged herself in some chopping, facing the wall. For log when she didn't hear any more noise, she turned around. And there stood Sid

Avu: Do you need anything

She asked him but without looking at him

Sid: Umm ye, if I can have some water

Avu: In the fridge. Take it

Sid: How about you get me some

Avu grabbed a bottle from the fridge and handed it to him. In the process of which, their fingers touched. Sid grabbed her by hands and pulled her close. But still, she kept ignoring him. She quickly turned away and continued her work

Sid's POV

Is she pissed off at me? But why?

He drank the water and left

Later, at the dining table. Everyone sat down together for lunch. Sid sat beside Anu. Vaish and Abhi together while Avu was left alone. She was feeling angry, uncomfortable, and lonely. Quickly after dinner, she excused herself and left to her room

After some time, she heard a knock on the door

It was Abhnavi, Sid and Anu. They came in

Vaish: What are you doing here Avu?

Abhi: Yea, we were waiting for you to come down but you didn't

Avu: Actually I was just....umm...just looking fr something I can't find

Sid: Can we help?

Avu: No than...

Anu: I don't think she needs our help. Do you Avneet?

Avu returned a death stare at her

Avu: Of course I don't

Vaish: You can look for it later. Join us, we are playing dumb charades

Avu hesitated but nodded in yes. They all continued playing

Later that night

Avu was filling her night water bottle when Vaish came into the kitchen

Vaish: Hey Avu. Do you have some time?

Avu: For?

Vaish: Just wanted to ask if you are fine. You looked dull today

Avu: Ahaan, I'm perfect. What would happen to me?

Vaish: Then why were you so quiet today. You weren't even talking to your 'Bandar'

Avu: Nothing's wrong. Actually, he's found a new friend so...

Vaish: New friend?  Do you mean Anu? 

Avu: I suppose

Vaish: She's not a new friend. And actually, she's really cool. Really funny

Avu: Yea right! Anyways di, I'm super exhausted today. So...good night!

Vaish: Alright, good night!

Avu left
