😮Misunderstanding?😮

Meanwhile at Nigam mansion,

Abhi went to the office. Vaish and V.A were sitting together in the living room, using phone and reading a book. Sa.A had stayed over last night since she and Vaish returned late from Avu's house. Since it was afternoon, Sa.A came downstairs to join them in the living room. She settled on the sofa

Sa.A: Listen, I...

She drew their attention to her and wanted to say something. But she hesitated

V.A: Yes? Do you want to say something Sangeeta?

Sa.A: I wanted to ask you something

Vaish: Go ahead mum

Sa.A: But before that, I want to tell you Vibha. I'm not being rude but this has been disturbing me since last night. So promise me that you'll answer me genuinely

V.A: I promise Sangeeta. Feel free and let me know. Are you uncomfortable about something?

Sa.A: So I just want to know this simple answer. How do you know Sonia?

V.A was moved and hesitated to answer

Sa.A: Vibha you promised me. Please answer

V.A: Umm...we both WERE friends!

Sa.A: Were? Why did you guys split?

V.A: Wh...why does that even matter? It's past now

Sa.A: Then why is that past creating problems today? Isn't that the reason why you refused Siddharth's and Avneet's alliance?

V.A: You went to see her yesterday right? Did she tell you something?

Sa.A: Yes. She told me what she claimed to be the truth. But I don't feel satisfied. I can't believe it

V.A: Has she lost so much self respect that she told you the truth from her own mouth?

Sa.A: How does that lower her self-respect. What she told me did surely create doubt about your truthfulness in my mind

Vaish was quiet since she didn't want to interrupt. But now that the conversation was getting intense, she knew she had to stop them both before it got worse

Vaish: Mum, Mummy! Please calm d-

Sa.A: Vaish please don't interfere

V.A: I'm sorry Sangeeta but I don't get what you're trying to prove. You have a doubt about my truthfulness in your mind? It must be Sonia's hand in feeding you some wrong information

Vaish: Mummy! Please-

Sa.A: Oh please, she was crying so badly yesterday. She was inconsolable, remembering the past. In that condition, if she revealed the truth then what's wrong? Something was surely wrong with me that I refused to accept her theory

V.A: You're doubting my truthfulness? What did she tell you that you're doubting me?

Sa.A: In that case, just answer me. What happened between your and Sonia's husband?

V.A: Didn't you just say that she told you everything? Then why do you want to hear me bad mouth about her?

Sa.A: So you're accepting that Ram murdered Aman? Accepting that he-

Vaish and V.A were shocked

V.A: What? What the hell are you speaking?

She spoke in a louder voice. Vaish started tensing seeing where they were heading and the matter was just worsening

V.A: I thought that we both had a good relationship but now you're crossing the limit. It was never my Ram who murdered Aman. Aman shot my Ram and later committed sucide

Sa.A was shocked to hear a different theory from her side. She couldn't  figure out what was happening

V.A: Speak now! Thanks to you for letting me know how shameless Sonia has become. She fucking accused my Ram of such a disgusting act? What a-

She spoke with her eyes filled 

Sa.A: Wait. If that's what you say then how can both the explanations be true? 

V.A: So you say that I'm lying? 

Suddenly Vaish final spoke up

Vaish: No! Mummy, you're not lying! In fact none of you are lying. I rather feel that someone has deliberately created a misunderstanding between you and Sonia aunty

Sa.A and V.A looked at her in shock

Sa.A: What is your part of the past

V.A told them both about the past from her point of view. Pretty similar to S.A's but with a different ending. Sa.A told her what S.A told her. By the end, they all realized how there had been a big misunderstanding. And that was the only thing that led to the break up in both the families' friendship

Sa.A: So it mea-

She was interrupted by a phone call. She received it when the name read S.A

Sa.A: Hello!

Phone call: .....

Sa.A: WHAT!

The phone dropped from her hands in shock

Meanwhile with Sidneet,

Sid saw S.A approaching them and stepped down the hill. Avu realized he must be planning to convince her mom. She watched him wait on the hillside for her mom to reach them

Avu's POV

I watched Sid as he eagerly waited for Ammu to cross the road and come to our side. He was really excited to try his luck and convince mom. I didn't go along as mom must've been disappointed to see me with Sid

Ammu was midway to reach our side when my eyes settled on a full speeded car coming in her direction. Siddharth must've noticed it too because before I could shout out and remind mom, he jumped in the way. I watched him push her back to the other side and the car making no effort to stop, It made its way straight forward, crashing into Siddharth!

POV Ends

S.A landed back on the other side, which was lined with soft grass. The car crashed Sid, throwing him into the air and then half a mile away on the bare roadside. S.A and Avu watched with their eyes wide open and their heartbeats stopping. The driver was rude enough to commit the accident and leave without looking back

Avu: Siddharth!

She shouted loud. S.A and Avu ran to Sid and all they saw was his uncounsious body, lying in a pool of blood. They both were thunderstruck, but soon a crowd gathered around them and without any delay, he was rushed to the hospital
