Ch.1
Start out with flashback to Ashlie in middle school, on bus alone until Nickard enters. He says her name is normal and gets a guess she's not a fusion. Ashlie's heart sinks but Nickard says that's cool. He's never met someone like her. Then he introduces himself, and Ashlie smiles and introduces herself

Somewhat same events as last time (Tuesday)
Nickard is excited for the Fusion Battles. He's been training. Then he takes out his cool battleaxe and swings it around, but DDDawn the hall monitor yells at him no magic or weapons in the hall and he puts it away. Ashlie wishes she could participate in the fusion battles, and Nickard mentions how she laments over that every year. Well that's because it's true

Then they get interrupted by DJon

Ch.2
DJon's monologue. Focuses more on trying to advocate that anyone should be allowed in fusion battles
Same events

Ashlie goes to Fusion Counseling instead of her math class. She learns about stableness and unstableness in Fusions. She will start seeing some of these signs in Nickard
The signs

3.Indecisiveness

5.Strained movements and/or voice
6.Labored breathing and tenseness
As she and Dashlie leave, Ashlie bumps into T-Dom, where they lock eyes but don't say anything.
Ashlie starts to head for her class, but Dashlie stops her and is very b*tchy to her before going off on her own

Memory with DJon and Ashlie and Nickard's first meeting

Ch.3
Ashlie heads to math, bumps into Nickard and says hello. Notices something is a little off but dismisses it before heading to math, introducing Duunnii.
The teacher does not discriminate against her.
Instead, we're introduced to Crordry, who seems a little pensive and has never really been too nice to Ashlie, but nothing more than dirty looks and snide remarks at anything Ashlie says or does

Ashlie rants to Nickard and DJon about Crordry in the hall on their way to lunch. After that discussion, they talk a little more about the Fusion battles. Nickard gets a little annoyed because they've been talking about that forever, and DJon points out Nickard is the one who is the most excited and they thought he'd want to go off on a tangent about it. Nickard interrupts and says he's getting tired of hearing about it since so many people are talking about it. They can talk about it during lunch if they really want. Then he hurries on ahead.
Ashlie finds out from DJon that someone's been really hammering down on Nickard about the fusion battles for a while. He doesn't know who, only that sometimes he catches glimpses of Nickard talking to someone in the hall, making that face he always makes when he's upset by something but is trying to hide it. Whenever DJon brings it up, though, Nickard doesn't want to talk about it. Ashlie asks what this person looks like and DJon shrugs, saying it's always in the hallway and there's too many people for him to actually see who it is.
*Also, while they are in the halls, DJon is passing out hand-made flyers (that he forced Duunnii to make) for the fusion battle equality. Some people keep it while others throw it out or crumple it into balls and throw it back at him

Ch.4
Ashlie is on her bike on her way home, contemplating over Nickard's mystery bully, recalling how she wanted to bring it up during lunch but DJon advised against it in the hall
She spots Dashlie a few blocks down and begs for the light to let her go, but that doesn't happen until last minute. Dashlie makes it to Ashlie's block on her cutesie comfort hybrid before the never ending red light ends and Ashlie takes off down the street and makes a hard left on her block

Ashlie heads to her treehouse in the backyard and turns on her planetarium projector, admiring the stars.
