I made this purely for fun
But heck this took so hecking long to draw

This is probably the one drawing I've ever made that has so many characters, so that's probably why it took so long
But I still had fun making it

Yep

DDawn as Maleficent
Duni as Jafar (Dindsey as his birb)

There's a bit (a lot) of a story to it

So, I imagine if this were a musical or something the opening number would be this:

"Dream a Little Harder" from the musical Twisted

It also explains my reasoning for making Duni Jafar and Dashlie Belle

After that humiliation, Duni heads into the castle and ponders to himself what he could possibly do to show the people that he could be a strong leader if he really wanted to
Then he runs into DDawn Fitzherald, the royal mage, who brings Duni to his place, a conversation taking place that suggest they've been good friends for a while now. Finally, they reach the mage's quarters, and Duni vents

DDawn presents his magic mirror to Duni, claiming that Duni is the best person around, it's just that the townspeople are imbeciles and only see things surface-level. Hope shining in his eyes for the truth to finally be revealed to him that he is worthwhile, Duni speaks to the magic mirror, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"
"Not you, ya little b*tch," laughs the mirror, and Duni's wonderment disappears from his face as the mirror presents the reflection of a tall, young man with ebony hair and ivory skin. "The fairest in the land is this dude. Richard White."
Duni contemplates this, rage slowly bubbling beneath his skin as he turns to DDawn and asks if there was any way to fix this. DDawn says, "Well, there is one way..." And DDawn whispers into Duni's ear.
Duni turns to the mirror, ecstatic and determined. "Mirror, what if this Richard guy weren't the fairest in the land? Could you change your truth to me?"
The mirror is like, "I mean, you aren't the fairest, but sure, if Richard were to, like, not exist. But, as it remains, you're not the fairest in the land."
"What if he were to die?" Duni inquires, and ominous music plays.
"I mean, yeah, probably."
And so, DDawn creates a poison apple, explaining it will kill anyone instantly who's lips first touch it. Duni shakes his head, wondering aloud, "Who would take food from a stranger?"
They look at Richard's reflection still in the mirror. "Probably him. He looks like the lights are all on inside, but no one's home," DDawn says.
