Honestly, nothing much happens this year. It'd just be a bunch of misadventures combined with schoolwork
So... basically what high school isBut I'll tell Year One's story anyways
Ashlie comes from a muggle family and finds out she's a witch when she gets a letter in the mail. There's a few plot holes that can be filled with why Ashlie is from America and is somehow able to go to Hogwarts. One option is that she and her family emigrated to England to start a new life. Another can be that she was apart of a foreign exchange program where she and a select few other students from around the world are able to get to Hogwarts. But ignoring that, Ashlie parts ways with her parents at King's Crossing to find Platform 9 3/4
And this happens...
With getting no more help and being left alone, Ashlie is at a lost as she stands by, realizing she just was separated from her parents to go to some dumb witchcraft and wizardry school that probably doesn't exist anyways, and she has no way of turning back. So there she stands, a panic attack slowly creeping in, but someone's ecstatic voice reaches her ears, and she looks over to see none other than her future best friends Nick and Jon plowing their way through a crowd of people with a trolly(?¿) stacked with their suitcases and a caged owl on top. The two are excitedly conversing about going to Hogwarts, and they are noticeably American. Jon says they just need to get through to Platform 9 3/4, and they'll soon be entering into a world full of opportunity and adventure and new potential friends. This peaks Ashlie's interest
//Important note: Jon is a pure blood wizard; Nick is a half-blood wizard. They've been next door neighbors their entire lives :) //
Ashlie hears the two talking and hesitantly approachesAnd this happens.......
After introductions and trusting two bozos with her life, she plunges into the wall between Platforms 9 and 10, where she finally emerges into the wizarding world, the intimidating figure of the Hogwarts Express the first thing that draws her attention. When she turns back to Nick and Jon to ask what they were supposed to do now, however, they disappeared. So, there Ashlie stood, once again alone and lostAnd then entered the witch
She saw Ashlie standing alone and looking lost. It was a perfect chance to make a new friend... or a new enemy. Determined to attempt at both extremes, Dashlie dramatically shoves her way through a crowd of people and approaches Ashlie...
