New Book of Random NSC stuff

Historically Inaccurate: notes

It's a shame this story will never come to be
Some of the notes are all over the place
Richard got a lot of attention
Also do keep in mind this is not complete

Jon: branded thief wanting to become a jester. Travels from place to place and tries to avoid being drafted into the crusades

Ashlie: from steampunk world. Alchemist and inventor. Uni's right hand man, helping him search for the cure to the plague

Nick: a knight in the crusades. Very chivalrous. Not human (could cause complications!). Him and Jon used to be roommates until Jon ran off. Then Nick got drafted to be a knight and is now going on crusades

Uni: King of the steampunk world. Not exactly appreciated. Goes on a royal mission to explore the renaissance world and figure out how to cure the plague and stop whatever is taking over the world

Dawn: from the steampunk world. Created by Ashlie for Uni. Uni's advisor. Also joining uni's expedition to stop the plague

Don: jester of a kingdom. Silver tongue. Has amnesia and doesn't remember his life before this one, but being a court jester is pretty rad since he can say whatever he wants.

Dashlie: princess who wants everything and more. Will run away to be freeee and peruse her dreams. See "Everything and More" song from Twisted. A bit of motivation would be her parents neglect her, leaving her to be raised by advisors. They also want a son, not a daughter

Dick: plague doctor. Also helps because he is a mage. Isolated himself from the population to help quarantine against the plague, only ever contacting people when they need his help. Seen as an expert for knowing how to survive the plague. However, he is quite unhinged from being alone so often. See "Spring and a Storm." He hallucinates sometimes and is very paranoid of visitors, especially if they rub him the wrong way. Because of his unpredictable personality, his magic is rather wild and, like him, unpredictable.

Duni: The king/dictator of the land being tainted and overrun, slowly taking over  the world. See "Dear Dictator" Song by Saint Motel. Is not interested in Uni until he hears he is a king. From another dimension! Imagine being king of a another dimension (even though that's not what Uni said.) Also probably a vampire or some other blood-sucking creature

Side characters:

Davis: NPC selling Cram. Seems to be everywhere. Definitely not human. Secret weapon to defeat King Duni?

DDawn: evil byproduct of Dawn. Bounty against Dawn, searching for King Uni to help rule and take over the world on his way

Lindsey: a nymph who guards the sentient wishing well with other nymphs

Anubis:a shifter that embraces his real natural form (the form between human and the animal). Knows about doctor Richard

Things happening on the side throughout the story:
-Ashlie trying to teach Richard to control his magic
-Don teaching Jon jester stuff

*Despite everyone hating Uni, especially for him to be a Shifter, meaning he turns into an animal during New Moons, Uni wants to help his dying world by finding a cure to the plague.
Still unsure about whether he's from a different dimension or a floating island or..? Maybe the dimension thing. There could be doors or entryways to many dimensions in the normal world. The only one you can't enter is the Dungeon World, which only has an exit
