Donny was a smart lil' boy
He and Dick learned to hide
Nights would pass and they would survive
No matter the feud that formed

When Mama seeked
They kept away
Knowing well the price they'd pay
When Mama's ears caught their trail
And expressed the hate she'd reformed

Then on the night
That marked the end
Donny and Dick put an end to the fright
Donny donned a clever disguise
And Mama seeked, her temper high

He and Dick would destroy the tape
And everything would rewind
Yet Mama could still hear the children
And Donny fucking died

*****color pallet will become more desaturated over time! Christmas Day will be mainly gray except for some reds

-Richard and Don sleeping over for Christmas break because Richard's parents are going through a divorce and don't want to get him mixed up in the arrangements going on

-don calls Richard "coward" casually throughout the entire story

-Don is 8 1/2
-Richard is 9

-mama short circuits in rain(but doesn't kill her)

-Richard swings bat at Mama when she attacks Don

Dick: wooh. This is your basement? Eugh. I can practically smell the abstinence
Don:
Don: Wait, do you mean asbestos?
Dick: that's what I said

Dick: Alright, got separated from my friend and just heard a mysterious noise down in the basement so logically I better go investigate it
Dick: YEAH THAT SOUNDS RIGHT
Or
Dick: ok maybe if I go down in the basement I'll be safe!
Dick: YEAH THAT SOUNDS RIGHT

Dick: *sees Mama's red eyes in the dark*
Dick: mom is that you..?

Don: tonight I looked death in the face and laughed
Dick: pretty sure you were crying half the time (or something along those lines)

Ch 1
Day1
-Richard is dropped off at Don's house by his dad. Don's mom and him talk in the background vaguely about the divorce
-Don and Richard play in the yard with sprinklers and the dog, getting cold and wet until Ms. Donathan orders them inside once Mr. Dootzki drives away
-after showering the two boys play Duck Hunt in the living room while Ms. Donathan washes dishes
-they get ready for bed and Ms. Donathan brings the dog inside because it's supposed to rain sometime during the week and she doesn't want the dog to be left in the cold rain
-the boys go to bed at 8, Ms. Donathan kissing him on the forehead and Dres giggling. They secretly plan to stay up all night but pass out two hours later

Ch2
Night 1
December 20, 1998
5 days before Christmas
-Don wakes up at 12 to sneak downstairs to sneak a peak at his present
-it's tattletail... wow!
-follow same plot as Tattletail game night 1
-brush, feed, groom, learn the basis of tattletail. Tasks do show up. So do stats
-wrap him back up (lights are out in the basement)
-Don goes back upstairs after putting tattletail up to find Richard in the kitchen, saying the phone woke him up
-Don says not to answer but Richard does, and the static happens
-that was weird. Front door is open. Show Easter egg but they don't get it and instead go to sleep

Ch3
Day 2
-Ms. Donathan goes out to buy groceries and asks if the boys want anything. Cupcakes and ice cream woman. Give us sugar!
-play Duck Hunt and cuddle with doggo. Richard talks about weird dream last night (Don doesn't pay entire attention). the phone rings (don't entirely focus on it). They do not answer it

Ch4
Night 2
December 21, 1998
4 days before Christmas
-Don wakes up because of the washing machine downstairs. Trips over Richard on his way and they both investigate. Knock on Ms. Donathan's door before going. She doesn't answer, so the boys move on because they ain't chicken
-find tattletail in washing machine. Weird. Don tells Richard that Santa isn't real and he should know this since he's like 9
-follow same events as Tattletail night 2
-go charge him, question why he gets LOUDER when he's out of charge
-Don wants to play. Richard is tired and wants to go to bed, but Don is already on his way to a vase. Richard says no, for once being sensible, but Don breaks the vase like a fool
-lights go out, Richard gets the flashlight and shines it on them as they question what could've turned the lights off. Mama is watching in the background. Task: Oh No...
-spooked, they wrap up tattletail after the lights come on and head upstairs
-when they run back upstairs and hear knocking on the door, Richard goes to answer it but Don yeets him back to his room and yells at them to sleep

Day3
-thought it was the end but it was only the beginning of everything going wrong

Night 3
December 22, 1998
3 days before Christmas
-Richard wakes Don up this time. Hear grinding noise. Go investigate because that's smart. Try to wake up Ms. Donathan again. She is still asleep. Go downstairs
-mama's story
-go to get tattletail, talk about how creepy that was. Tattletail is some how in the living room and made a huge mess! THE TV NO! D is sad
-Don wraps tattletail back up and Richard cleans up the mess. Don scrapes his knees stumbling down the stairs. This is what keeps Richard from being heard since there are two noises at once. Mama isn't there. Richard is stalked by Mama. Don't make noise. Richard runs to Don's room and hides under the covers

Ch7
Day 4
-Ms D asks what happened to the TV and D and R exchange glances. They decide to tell her as they hand out with Dashlie.
-Ms D gets upset and tells D to just tell the truth. He's even in more trouble that he lied, and now they can't go to the mall to meet Santa tomorrow. R and Dash are uncomfortable as D gets yelled at
-Ms D goes to make lunch
-Dashlie doesn't believe them but gives advice. If she were being chased by something sinister, she would not split up if someone were with her, not back into a corner, and be CERTAIN not to make any noise
-D looks down at his drawing

Ch8
Night 4
December 23, 1998
2 days until Christmas
-hear chattering outside
-Don gets up to investigate and wakes up Richard. stop to knock on Ms. Donathan's door but know she won't open
-follow events of night 4
-survive 30 seconds
-r and d try to stay together but t is very loud because he's hungry and so d goes off after r yells at him not to blow their cover
-Richard and Don get separated. When the coast is clear, Richard finds Don in a cupboard. "I was scared". Find t's friend.
-survive 1 minute
-r's turn with t. D and r try to stay together.
They hide in d's closet but t loudly starts to demand to be brushed. R goes off leaving D alone.
-coast is clear. D sees t's friend in his closet so he tags him, accidentally starting a new game.
-last hide and seek!
-survive 1:30 min
-T's friend says where d is so d books it and runs out the back door to run away. R is literally in the background. About to call after him but mama finds him and he has to run. Maybe the basement is safe! Yeah that sounds right!
-falls down stairs. Encounters Don. t's friend is in basement
-coast clear. Grab tape
-watch tape in room

-The tape. Tattletail by JonJon Entertainment

Ch10
Night 5
December 24,1998
Christmas Eve
-wake up! Wake up! Wake up!
-go to second basement entrance
-more tattletails?
-get yellow Tattletail upstairs. Lights go out. See Blue on their way and grab him too. Panel can just be them skirting around mama through the basement stairs
-grab Tattletail. get cupcakes.
-Mama watches. R gets cupcakes while Don feeds Tattletail
-get lights. Don hides in bathroom. R doesn't know where he is. Gets lights and returns downstairs.
-get candles. Don tries to sneak but gets attacked. Richard saves him.
-run outside. mama attacks the boys in the rain. Short circuits. Dies. The boys return to the basement with the candles and see the seance and get freaked out but complete the ritual as Mama's eyes watch
-Don breaks the vhs tape

Ch11
Day 6
Christmas Day
-Don awakes first on Christmas Day. Task: open Christmas present
-Open it

So Don dies
