"Boyfriend?!" I said in shock.
"Yeah, is there a problem?" Carolin asked.
I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into the office.
"Are you insane? A boyfriend after your grandmother just died?!"
"Look I know it's a big shock and all but did you really have to mention my grandmother?"
"Im sorry... So, is he staying here?"
"Yes. he's going to be at our school."
" And does he have any relatives over here that he's staying with?"
"No. He's living with me." She smiled.
Right when she said that I wanted to slap her so hard for even bringing the guy all the way from New York to here. I even wanted to run to her house and slap her mother for even letting the guy stay in their house.
"Hey ladies, is there a problem here?" Peter said as he walked into the middle of our converstaion.
"No babe.. we're done here." Carolin said as Peter put his arms around her and they walked out. Is she serious? Why would a guy want to come all the way from New York to Chicago? He must really like her. I'm just glad that she's happy.
