Ambulances and Police cars everywhere around. We could see them put Vanessa on a stretcher and take her away. Police Officers were asking kids questions on if they saw the license plate on the car or describe what type of car it was, but nobody had a clue.
It happened fast. Too fast. Vanessa body was just swept away by a car and her life might have been too.
"We have to go to the hospital." I ordered Carolin.
"I know let's go we'll take a taxi" Carolin said quickly.
By the time we got to the hospital the lobby had only a few kids in it. Wow not that many people liked Vanessa. I don't either, but I do care. The nurse said we weren't able to come into the room because she was banged up really bad. So we waited a couple more hours.
"Hello are you the kids that are waiting for Vanessa?" another nurse asked.
"Yes" everyone said together.
"Well the doctor said that the surgery is going just fine and she might be able to recover soon."
Everyone was happy that she was going to be okay. A few moments later we could hear a siren.
"Code red!" "Code Red!" I heard a doctor say.
A bunch of nurses and doctors went running like animals into a room with a bunch of tools. They all looked worried and so was I. Soon the alarm was off and all of the doctors walked out of the room with blood on their uniforms. It didn't scared me at all because I've seen a lot of medical shows, but this looked pretty bad. The nurse walked up to was again. This time she looked disappointed and upset.
"Kids, I'm sorry to announce that Vanessa has..."
"Vanessa has what?" a boy stood up and said.
The nursed sighed and finally said "Vanessa couldn't make it." "I'm sorry guys."
I couldn't believe it. Vanessa was dead.
