Chapter 38

Your pov

After the last akuma, I was a little tired. I was at home now, just chilling on my phone. Tikki had already fallen asleep. It was getting a bit late. 10:30 pm. Not so late that I was going to sleep, but late enough for it to feel like it was night. 

Now, it was quite cold outside, but I wanted some fresh air. So I wrapped a blanket around myself and headed out to my balcony. Just to look at the starry sky, and all the city lights. And the best part, the Eiffel tower in the distance. In my my opinion, Paris looked even better at night than it did in the day.

I let out a content sigh, feeling happy with what I had accomplished today. The akuma had been a little bit of an adventure though. The feeling of not being able to see was not one that I enjoyed. Not that there's anything wrong with being blind, well, I guess there is a wrong part, and that is that you can't see, but what I'm saying is that I accept that people are blind. But I am rather happy that I am not blind myself.

Wrapped in these thoughts, I didn't even pick up the little thud that came from behind me. Suddenly, my vision went dark again, and I couldn't see. "Guess who?" I heard from behind me. I touched the gloved hands that were covering my vision. Of course I already knew who it was, but I still wanted have a bit of fun with this.

"Hmm... I don't know. Is it possibly someone really handsome?" I asked. I could hear the smirk in his voice. "Well of course, only the most handsome guy ever." the voice said. "Hm, is it... Adrien Agreste?" I asked. Now it was my turn to smirk.

"Well yeah- wait what?" the voice said, and suddenly, I could see again. I turned around and came face to face with a shocked Chat Noir. I started laughing at the shocked look on his face. "I'm kidding! I swear! You're the handsomest of them all Chat." I said and chuckled. His face immediately changed into an excited one. He grinned and hugged me. I smiled immediately and hugged him tightly back, dropping my blanket in the process.

"Thank you princess. And you're the the most beautiful of them all." He said and a light purring noise emitted from his chest. I smiled and blushed in return. I get flustered way too easily. He only gave me  compliment. When was the last time I made him blush? I don't even know at this point. 

What if I made him blush though. I wanna do a test and check what makes him blush for once. Cause my blushing is getting out of hand. "Hey Chat?" I asked and stepped a little away from him, but still so close that we were holding each other. "Yeah purrincess?" he said, creating a little pun in my given name. I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully back. 

"If I'm your princess, will you be my purrrince?" I asked and rang his bell with a smirk. He looked a bit shocked. Was he blushing? I can't tell, his mask is covering a lot of his face. I sighed, but kept my face straight. "Of course I will." he said with a smirk and a wink. He also grabbed my hand and gave it a kiss. dammit.

'Don't blush, don't blush, don't blush, don't blush'

I took a deep breath, calmed my nerved, and breathed out. Should I keep going?

Oh, who am I kidding... 

Of course I'll keep going.

"Well my prince, why don't you let me show you how you'll be treated now that you're mine." I said and smirked, stepping closer to him. He stepped closer as well with a smirk of his own. "Oh? Show me then." 

I smirked and grabbed him by his bell, pulling his face down to meet mine. I looked at him one last time and smirked before I closed the small gap by pulling his bell again. Our lips smashed together and I moved my hand from his bell to up in his hair. His immediately went to my waist. I opened my eyes to check if it worked. There was a little red in his cheeks, but it wasn't enough for me. 

I do this and he's only a little red, while he just gives me a little compliment and I turn into a tomato?

No chance.

I clenched my fist around his hair and pulled him even closer... If that was even possible at this point... Then an idea struck me. It might be a bit bold, but it was worth a shot. I wrapped my arms securely around his neck before I jumped up. and wrapped my legs around his torso. He seemed a bit taken back by my actions, but swiftly moved one of his hands from my waist to under my thighs. The other was pressing me towards him from my waist. 

I opened my eyes again and leaned a bit back to break the kiss. He was definitely blushing more now, but I still wasn't satisfied. What more could I possibly do though? As I jumped down from his arms, his blush was already gone.

"You're being awfully bold today princess." He said with a smirk. "Oh yeah? And what are you going to do about it?" I asked, feeling more confident now. He grinned devilishly. That's not a good sign...

Suddenly my back was pressed against the wall, his arms trapping me there as he laid his forearms there. Our faces awfully close... Dammit, now I was blushing again. "Is this a good enough punishment for you?" He asked, seriousness now laced in his voice.

"Just perfect." I answered before our lips connected again.

We stood like that for a while, with his chest pressed against mine and my back pressed against the wall. It just seemed perfect. When we parted again, I smiled up at him.

"God, I love you..."

His eyes widened, and his face exploded with color. Wait... Did I say that out loud? Well, at least I achieved my goal...

"Um... I... I didn't-" I was shocked by myself right now. Did I move way too fast by saying that?

"I'm sorry, this is probably moving way too fast now. I mean, I've felt like this for a while now, I just haven't said anything... But I realize you might not feel the same way and I just-" He cut me off by putting a finger to my lips. His cheeks were still rosy, but so was mine. 

"Y/n, I love you too... A lot..." He said, a genuine, sweet smile covering his lips. 

I smiled back, his words were simple, but they hit me straight in my heart.

God, that's so cliché. 

This time, I just decided to go for a hug, simple but affective. And he hugged back of course. " I love you..." he whispered into my ear and pressed a light kiss on my neck. Butterflies soared through my stomach and I smiled contently.

"I love you too..."
