Chapter 27

Your pov

The school day was almost over. Lila just vanished though. No one had seen her after she had talked to me. It was making me nervous. What was she planning? What was she doing? Was it about me? Or perhaps Adrien? 

I honestly hated this. She could mess with me, but she could NOT mess with my friends. Miss Bustier seemed worried too. Everyone knows she cares about every single one of her students... Even Chloe.

"When was the last time anyone saw Lila?" Miss Bustier asked. "Well, she went and talked to Y/n. I didn't see her after that." Mylene said. "Oh, did you see where she went after you guys talked y/n?" Miss Bustier asked.

"Eh, no." I said. It wasn't a lie. I genuinely had no clue where she went.

"Did you talk about anything that could have made her upset?" Miss Bustier asked. "More like getting me upset." I mumbled under my breath. "What?" Alya said. "Eh! No, not that I know of. It was just a normal conversation. To get to know each other, you know?" I said. Miss Bustier nodded.

"Well, let's just hope nothing happened and that she is fine." Miss Bustier said. We all nodded. Everyone looked so concerned. I was just irritated. She just came today, and people already adored her. And apparently she hates me. Why? Because I hang out with Adrien? That's just stupid.

As Miss Bustier continued with the lesson, we suddenly heard a loud schreech and a bang. Then a bunch of screams. Everyone got up and ran to the window. Out there, a car crash had just happened...

My eyes widened. "Can we please go down?" I asked. "But, the lesson-" miss Bustier started. "Honestly miss Bustier, I don't think anyone of us can concentrate when THAT happens down there!" Alya said. Miss Bustier then sighed and nodded. We all ran down, with miss Bustier.

When we ran there, I quickly made a turn towards the bathroom. Tikki flew out of my pocket once we were inside. "Y/n? What are you doing? A car crash isn't ladybug's job." Tikki said. "I know, but I have a bad feeling about this." I said. Tikki sighed and nodded.

"Tikki! Spots on!" I yelled and immediately transformed into Ladybug. I ran out and swung away, to the car crash. 

I landed by the crash. I immediately went over to an police officer. "Ladybug? What are you doing here?" He asked. "This isn't the type of job I usually do, but this gives me bad vibe." I said. The police officer nodded. "Has everyone gotten out?" I asked.

"There were nobody in there..." the officer said. I furrowed my eyebrows. I looked over at the crashed car. "Mind if I have a look?" I asked. "Do what you have to Ladybug." He said. I nodded and went over.

I want over the police tape around the car, and started walking towards it. I could hear journalists screaming "ladybug!" From the crowd. I went towards the car and spectated it. I touched the car, and then it vanished. The whole crowd gasped.

I turned around and looked at the officer. In the corner of my eye I could see Adrien run away. "Officer, I think this is the making of an akuma. I need you all to get out of here, to safety." I said. The officer still looked completely bewildered. Then he quickly nodded and started guiding the citizens away.

I could still hear the journalists trying to get my attention, but I was in a hurry. I swung away. I needed to find this akuma. As I ran across the roofs, I quickly called Chat Noir with my yoyo. "Ladybug?" I could hear his voice say.

"Chat Noir! Good your transformed! There's an akuma on the loose! I don't know what it looks like, but I think it has the power of illusions!" I said. "Illusions?" Chat asked. "Yeah! Didn't you say something about someone who made illusions? When that man came? When there was water everywhere?" I asked.
