I was walking to school today. Today was pretty exciting, cause it was the day the new student came. I was excited. Maybe she was nice? Everyone said they knew who would be starting. I don't know though. Hopefully she was nice. Everyone said she was at least. Alya said she had some suspicion towards her though, but only because the last girl that went here didn't like her at all. She apperantly hated her...

Once I got to school, I met up with Alya, Adrien and Nino. We talked until the bell rung. Then we went to class. There was no new girl here yet... Miss Bustier had started teaching, when a knock came on the door. "Ah, yes! Come in!" Miss Bustier said. In walked mr. Damocles and another girl. "Everyone, here is our new student! Most of you already know her, but for those of you that don't! This is Lila Rossi, our new student!" Miss Bustier said. Lila waved and smiled. Mr. Damocles cleared his throat.

"Now, I want all of you yo take care of her! Lila has been through a lot. Be nice!" Mr. Damocles said. Then he walked out the door. Lila looked over the classroom, when her eyes landed on me. Her eyes widened a bit. Then she raised her arm. "Execute me, miss Bustier! Where is Marinette?" She asked. "Oh, Marinette moved a while ago! This right here is y/n!" Miss Bustier said and pointed at me. "Oh! That's incredibly sad to hear! Me and Marinette were such good friends! But it's nice to meet you!" She said and batted her eyelashes.

"Nice to meet you as well!" I said and smiled. Alya looked a bit suspicious though. I was a bit weirded out as well. There was something about Lila's voice that didn't seem right...

"Miss Bustier! Can I sit in the front! I'd like to talk a bit with Adrien since it's been so long! And my eyes are getting much worse!" Lila said. "Why don't you just get glasses?" I asked. Lila looked at me. She looked a bit irritated, but it was just for a second. "I have a rare condition, glasses doesn't work for me!" She said. I frowned. I was no doctor, but that was an odd condition.

"Well, of course Lila. Nino, mind sitting in the back with Nathaniel?" Miss Bustier asked. "Eh, no miss..." Nino said, and walked off to the back. Adrien smiled sympathetically to him. Lila immediately sat down next to him. A bit to close too... I wasn't jealous, but Adrien looked uncomfortable.

Miss Bustier continued the lesson, but I wasn't paying attention. Lila was batting her eyelashes and leaning awfully close to Adrien. Adrien was moving further and further away. He almost fell off his seat. Then the bell rung. Adrien looked relieved and jumped up from his seat.

"Class dismissed." Miss Bustier said, and we all walked out the door...

Out in the courtyard, everyone was surrounding Lila. Lila seemed to love the attention. I stood a bit further away with Alya, Adrien and Nino. "There is something about her..." I said. "Yeah! I don't like her one bit!" Nino said. "Nino! Be nice!" Alya said and elbowed him. "Ow! Sorry Alya, but I'm just speaking the truth! Marinette didn't like her, and I don't either!" Nino said. "Give her a chance! Marinette only disliked her because Lila liked the same person as her!" Alya said.

I didn't even go here then, but I knew there was more to the story than that.

"I didn't know... Something about her seems fishy..." I said. Alya looked at me. "You too?" She asked. "You just met her!" Alya said. "I know! And I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but something about her voice seems... off..." I said. "Y/n's right." Adrien said and placed a hand on my shoulder. "There is something off about her. And I trust Marinette's judgment." He said. I could feel someone staring at me from behind, and a cold shiver ran through my spine.
