A new ladybug?! Chat noir/Adrien Agreste x reader

Chapter 31

So I did it. I drew the drawing on top there. Keep in mind that this is my first time drawing on an iPad, I'm better with normal pencil, cause I've never used this before. Now, let's get on with the story...

It had been a couple days after the whole 'lead role in a play with Adrien' thing. Chloe wasn't talking to me. I didn't really mind. She was okay, she could be nice if she really wanted too, but her jealousy often gets in her own way. She needs to learn how to control that...

Anyway. I still hadn't talked to Chat. There had been no akumas and he hadn't been visiting me. I actually missed him. I'm still nervous about talking about our kiss... Maybe he didn't want me to think it was a romantic kiss, and that's why he isn't visiting? Or maybe I'm just overthinking...

Everything's probably fine...

Next day

I got to school the next day. I was pretty excited. We were gonna start rehearsing for the play today, which was exciting. I had read through that play multiple times already, but I definitely haven't memorized the lines yet. 

"So class, today we will start rehearsing for our play. Some of you don't have as many lines to remember, and som of you have quite a lot to remember..." Miss Bustier said and made eye contact with me. I chuckled nervously. "But I am positive you will all be great!" She said and clapped her hands together.

"Let's start from scene one, and don't worry too much about the acting now... Just have fun!" Miss Bustier said. Then we started. Soon, it was time for my 'opening' scene. Adrien had already made his entrance. 

I walked out to the front of the classroom, or 'the stage', as it is now. I made eye contact with Adrien, or 'Liam'. "Wow..." he mumbled, just loudly enough for people to hear. "Who is that?" He asked. I gave him a slight smile before I walked off. "Thats Belle Willow. One of the most top class girls here." I heard Nino, or 'Zeke' say. 

'Liam' looked after me. "Can you introduce me to her?" He asked. "No way! I'm not good enough to introduce you! You're not good enough to be introduced either!" 'Zeke' said. 'Liam' sighed in defeat. "Fine..." he mumbled. He looked after where 'Belle' or me had left, but I was already gone...

"Amazing! So much chemistry between you and Adrien, y/n!" Alya said and winked at me. "I didn't even say anything." I said and laughed. "But the look! You acted with your look! Unless, that look was real..." Alya said and wiggled her eyebrows. I chuckled. "No way Alya. I guess I'm just an excellent look actor!" I said dramatically. Alya laughed.

"Hahahahh!"  We then heard. And we all knew what that meant. 

An akuma...

"A play you say? That's too bad... I will destroy it! But don't be sad! I am a poet! And an excellent at that! Now where is that Ladybug? And that little black cat!" She yelled. People screamed and ran out of the classroom. 

Alya hid behind a desk while filming. I dragged her out, then I let go of her and ran away. I ran into the bathroom. Tikki flew out of my pocket. "Time to see Chat again..." she said. "Yeah, but it isn't ladybug he kissed... It was me, so he doesn't really know..." I said. Tikki nodded.

"Tikki! Spots on!" I yelled and turned into Ladybug. I swung out of the school and on the roof. I saw the akumatized woman running around the streets. She would zap someone, and they would suddenly only feel on emotion... While only rhyming... What an odd power...

"Hello m'lady!" Chat said and landed next to me. "Hey kitty." I said and smiled at him. "What do we have here?" He asked. "She's a woman that makes people only feel one emotion while rhyming. I think it's something like acting with one emotion." I said. He nodded. "Well then..." he said.

"Yeah..." I said. "Let's get her then!" Chat said. He ran down and started waving his arms around at her. "Yoo-hoo! Poet girl! Over hereeee!" He yelled. "I'm not poet girl! I am Miss Poet!" She said. Chat looked at her dumbfounded. "I was actually pretty close." He said.

"Good job chat! Name guessing should be your new profession!" I yelled at him. He looked back at me with a grin and a thumbs up. Then he got zapped.

"Chat!" I yelled. I ran down to him. "Ow that hurt! It was really fun! It made me happy! Just like the sun!" Chat said. "What..." I said. "Are you only feeling one emotion?" I asked. "Yeah I guess I am! And Im rhyming too! I'm so excited! It came out of the blue!" He said. I sighed. 

"Hahahah! Want a taste too Ladybug?" Miss Poest asked. "Nah, I'm good." I said. I grabbed chat's hand and ran away from there. I didn't wanna get zapped as well. 

"Well that was fun! I love to run! Can we do it again! But this time with a pun!" Chat said. "No puns now chat..." I said and chuckled. I looked around. People were happy, disgusted, sad, angry, surprised. And all this while they were rhyming! What is happening!

"Lucky Charm!" I yelled. I threw my yoyo in the air, then I got a rope. "Rope? What am I gonna do with this?" I asked. "You could tie her up! So she stuck! Then we can get her akuma! But we'll need a lot of luck..." Chat said. He was right. I could tie her up, but I needed her to stand still then...

"I have an idea!" I said. "You always do! Cause you're the best! That's why you're my lady. And you can pass any test!" Chat said. I blushed and giggled. "Thanks Chat." I said. "Come on!" I yelled. "I'm on my way! My bugabae!" He said. "I blushed once more. "Not bugaboo?" I asked. "But that doesn't rhyme, it doesn't make a good chime." Chat said.

"Okay..." I said while we were running. "Hey! Miss poet!" I yelled. "Ah ladybug! What a treat! And the cat too! Come to face your defeat?" She asked. "I actually think I'm a better poet than you..." I said and crossed my arms, challenging her.

"That's impossible! I'm the best! What about a competition? Let's make this a test!" She said. "Ok... Whoever can rhyme the longest, wins..." I said. She nodded.

"Roses are red, violets are blue. I'm gonna win, cause your rhymes are... poo..." I said. "That was pathetic! I'm much better than that! You're not gonna win! You smelly old rat!" She said. "It lies in my name. That I'm a bug. But you're too slow to get that. Maybe you're a slug?" I said.

"For that you're gonna pay! So get over here! I have some things to say!" She said and started running towards me. She tried to zap me multiple tims, but I always dodged. I saw chat in the distance. He had set up the rope. He gave me a thumbs up. I nodded.

I ran over and jumped over the rope, but Miss Poet tripped... Chat got the rope and tied it quickly around her. "That was exciting! We should do it again! But more should trip! Maybe a friend!" Chat said. "Ok, that's enough rhyming..." I said. I picked up her pencil, which is what she had been zapping us with, and broke it. The akuma flew out.

"No moridea evil doing for you little akuma..." I said. "Time to de-evilize!" I yelled and catched th akuma in my yoyo. "Bye bye little butterfly..." I said. I got the rope and threw it in the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!" I yelled. Everything turned back to normal.

"Wooo! I don't have to rhyme all the time!" Chat yelled. I looked weirdly at him. "Wait.. Was that one? No! That wasn't fun!" He said. "Chat, you don't have to rhyme anymore..." I said. "I know bugaboo! I just cant stop! I..." he thought a bit. "Ok, it stopped now, I can't come up with anymore rhymes now..." he said. I chuckled.

"Pound it!" We both then said. My Miraculous then beeped. "Oh! I gotta go! See ya Chat!" I said. "Bye m'lady!" He said as I swung away.

Once I got home, I swung onto my Bed and detransformed. I gave Tikki a cooki and sat up on my bed. "That was fun. Chat has some weird rhymes." I said. Tikki nodded. "I'm really looking forward to the play y/n! You only used your look today, and it still looked awesome! I bet you're an terrific actor!" Tikki said.

"Thanks Tikki! I'm really looking forward to it as well!" I said. Tikki giggled. "You and Adrien have a special bond. It was really mesmerizing to look at." Tikki said. "I guess! I mean, he is my best friend after all!" I said and grinned.

"Yeah! Friends share special bonds..." Tikki said. "Do you think me and Chat share a bond?" I asked. "I'm sure you are! You are amazing partners after all!" Tikki said. "Yeah! I guess we are an amazing team!" I said.

And hopefully, we'll be more than just partners one day...
