Chapter 10

I was at school today and I was talking to my usual group.

"You know, we should totally go to the zoo together! Last time we went an akuma attacked, so we didn't get to see much..." Alya said.

"Well, that sucks. But I can go!" I said. It would be fun looking at animals with my friends.

"Yeah! Me too! It was the place me and Alya fell in love!" Nino said with a wink and a thumbs up.

I giggled. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah! We actually got trapped in a cage by the last ladybug, and we found out we had a lot in common." Alya said.

"Cool, but unusual way of getting in a relationship..." I said.

"So were all going then?" Alya asked. "Yeah!" I said. "Okay!" Nino said. Then we all looked at Adrien.

"I mean, I don't have anything to do today... I'll ask my father." He said.

I nodded. "We should head home before we go to the zoo anyway. So we can put away our backpacks." I said. The others nodded.

"You can ask Gabriel then and call to say your answer!" I said. Adrien smiled and nodded. "Okay, yeah, sure." He said.

Then the bell rang.

After school

"Thank god we don't have any homework!" I said. "Yeah! We can go to the zoo right after we put away our backpacks!" Alya said.

Once I got home I saw my dad. "Dad!" I said and gave him a hug. "Hey kiddo!" He said. "Why are you home early?" I asked. "I got told to go home, I'm sick." He said.

"Really? I'm going out with some friends. Do you want me to stay home?" I asked worriedly. "Oh no! Go out! Have fun kiddo!" He said.

I nodded and went upstairs and put away my backpack. I had my purse with my wallet, keys and phone. And Tikki of course. Then I got a call.

I took my phone and looked at the screen. It was Adrien.

I answered.

"Hey!" I heard Adrien's voice say.

"Hi Adrien! Sooo? Can you go?" I asked.

"I was surprised, but yes!" He said. I could hear the happiness in his voice.

"Great! I'll inform the others!" I said.

"Ok!" Adrien said and hung up. I texted Alya and Nino and said Adrien will be coming.

Then I put my phone in my purse and went downstairs.

"Ok dad! I'll get going now!" I said.

"Ok kiddo-" Then he got interrupted by himself coughing. "Dad! You sure you want me to go?" I asked.

"No worries! I'm okay!" He said. I nodded. "Okay, if you're sure..." I said and went out the door.

Once I was at the zoo I saw Nino and Alya at the entrance. I ran over.

"Hey guys!" I said and waved while running over.

"Hey y/n!" Alya said. "Sup!" Nino said.

"Where's Adrien?" I asked.

"I'm here!" Adrien said as he came up to us.

"Great! Let's go!" I said and pointed towards the zoo.

The others laughed. We bought our tickets and went in.

We looked at some animals when we came to a panther.

"Oooh! It looks kinda like Chat Noir! Right y/n!" Alya said and bumped me with her elbow while wiggling her eyebrows. I blushed.

"W-well yeah! They're both black cats!" I said.
