A new ladybug?! Chat noir/Adrien Agreste x reader

Chapter 3

"My what!" I said wide eyed. I couldn't believe it! This was just what me and Alya talked about today.

"Your miraculous! Do you know what it is?" The giant red bug asked. I nodded. "Y-yeah... Alya told me about it..." I said

"So she knows Alya too..." the bug muttered. "Well y/n! I am Tikki and you are chosen as the new ladybug!" 

I was in shock. Me? The new ladybug? I just got here yesterday and this happens! 

"Okay... But what if I'm not good enough! I've heard what the other ladybug did! She was so awesome! And so talented! I can't live up to her!" I said panicked.

"Think about what you can do y/n! Don't care what others say! You can be the greatest Ladybug if you just believe in what you can do! You'll do great!" Tikki said.

I nodded. "Okay... Explain me everything then..." I said and Tikki did. She explained my powers and how it worked. She explained how to transform and how to detransform. She explained who hawkmoth was and how to purify akumas. That when I used my power I had five minutes left and my earrings show how many minutes I have left. She explained my miraculous ladybug power that turned everything back to normal and how my yoyo worked.

After all of that all I could was nod. "Put on the earrings!" Tikki said. I nodded and put them on. Luckily I had earring holes. "Okay, but I don't need to transform right now do I?" I asked, I wasn't sure yet if I was ready. "No b-" Tikki started, but as she said that a giant thump was heard outside.

Me and Tikki looked at each other and then I ran out to the balcony. Tikki flew right behind me. Out there was a giant man who roared over the city. "I am Ginormous!" The giant said. I looked at Tikki.

"Okay. Maybe transforming would be a good idea." I said nervously. Tikki nodded.

"Tikki spots on!" I yelled. Tikki got obsorbed in my earrings. A ladybug mask appeared around her eyes. And a ladybug outfit appeared.

"Omg!" I said... "I'm Ladybug..."I murmured. "I'm freaking ladybug!" I screeched! "Okay! Time to defeat this akuma!"

I took my yoyo from around my waist and threw it. It tied around a chimney. When I pulled my yoyo I shot forwards. I managed to stop myself before I crashed into the chimney.

"Whew! That was close!" I said. "Ladybug?" I suddenly heard from behind me. I turned around and saw chat noir... And he was handsome... I never thought I would think that...

"Wait... you aren't ladybug." Chat said. "Well, no I'm not. I mean I AM, but not the same as you know... I'm new!" I said. "Oh..." Chat said. His ears was hanging on the side of his head. It was honestly adorable.

"So she is never coming back?" He asked sadly. I sighed. "No, and I'm sorry! I know she must have meant a lot to you. But I need your help. You don't have to like me! But please help me! Help me save Paris! So... partners?" I asked while I lightly bit my lip anxiously.

Then he smiled and held out his hand. "Partners." He said and held out his hand. With I gladly accepted.

"Aaaargh!" A giant roar interrupted our nice moment. I looked at him and he looked at me. Then we both nodded. I swung my yoyo at him and it got in his eye. That only seemed to anger him more.

I attracted my yoyo back to me. "Oh oh..." I said. He roared again and started running towards us.

"Run!" Chat said and grabbed my hand. We both ran away as fast as we could. I took my yoyo and attached it it to a tall building. "Hold on!" I yelled and grabbed onto chat noir's waist. 

Then I pulled us up to the building. "You can let go now." Chat smirked. I blushed and let go of Chat. "We need to fin out where his akuma could be!" I said.
