Chapter 32

Weekend! Woooooo!

I actually hadn't been doing a lot this weekend so far. I've mostly watched tv. But now I was actually rehearsing the play. I never got to say anything when we did it at school because of the whole akuma attack, so we'll rehearse more on Monday.

I was rehearsing now, because I didn't have anything better to do. I had been super bored today. Tikki was helping me rehearse though! I was playing my character, Belle, While she was playing Adrien's, Liam. She was doing a good job too! 

"No! You can't leave me Liam! Let me come with you! I'll follow you to the end of the world if I have to! I may seem desperate, and I am! You're the only one who understands me!" I said. Tikki looked at me before reading Liam's line.

"Belle! Listen to yourself! We can't be together! We're two worlds apart! You're high class, I'm low class. It's like titanic all over again! I don't want anything to happen to you! And what if you regret your decision later! Belle, you're the only one who understands me too... Maybe apart from Zeke, but you and I! We have a bond!" Tikki said as manly as I could. It was honestly pretty funny, but I didn't want to break my character.

"If we do have this strong bond, then why are you leaving me! Why do you leave me here in the dust while you go out to be a free man! I want to be free to! Free like you are! Free with you!" I said.

Tikki held my hand, as it said in the script. "Because Belle... I'm scared. I'm scared I can't give you th life you deserve. I can't provide that for you! I don't have what it takes. And what will people think when they see us together? A beautiful you maiden like you? And then there's me..." Tikki said.

I squeezed her tiny hand. "I don't care what people think. And you shouldn't be either. And I don't want a glamorous, wealthy life. I want a free and happy life... With you... And to be honest, I don't know what you mean about seeing you and me together, you're honestly a... A very good looking man..." I said. I tried to say the last part as nervous and embarrassed as I could.

"That was incredible y/n! Hav you ever tried acting or are you just a natural?" Tikki asked happily. "I actually haven't acted! It's really fun though!" I said. Tikki laughed. Then my phone beeped. "A message!" I yelled happily and darted across the room for my phone. I looked at it and it was a message from Alya.

"Oooh! Alya wants to meet at a cafe for lunch! What do you say Tikki?" I asked. Tikki nodded. "You should do it! You have been really bored today, so it's a great idea!" She said. I nodded, got dressed and such, before I went downstairs with Tikki, my phone, my keys and my wallet in a purse.

"Hey dad! I'm going out for lunch with Alya! Is that okay?" I asked. Dad nodded. "It's no problem! Have fun kiddo!" He sail I gave him a hug. "Thanks dad! I'll see ya later!" I said and ran out the door.

I went to the cafe me and Alya had decided to meet up. "Hey girl!" Alya said. I saw her sitting by a table a bit further into the cafe. Everyone looked at her as she yelled. I went over to her. "Geez, could you be any louder?" I said and chuckled. "Only for you!" She said and gave me a wink. I laughed.

"Have you decided what you want yet?" I asked. "I think I'll take the morning bagel and a berry smoothie. What about you?" She asked. "Hmmm... I'll take f/f and f/d." I said. "Good choice! I'll go order." She said. I nodded. 

Alya got up and left to order. I turned around and saw the cafe door open. I immediately recognized who stood there. It was Adrien and Nino. Nino noticed me. I smiled and waved at him. He grinned and bumped Adrien with his elbow. Adrien looked weirdly at him, before Nino nodded his head towards me. Adrien noticed me, froze up a bit, then he waved and smiled.

They both came over. "Sup y/n! What are you doing here!" Nino asked. "I'm here for lunch with Alya! What are you guys doing here?" I asked. "My bro here, Adrien, and I decided to do the same! Hey! Mind if we sit down with you?" He asked. "No problem! Go ahead! I'm sure Alya won't mind!" I said. I slid further into the couch. "Great! Thanks!" Nino said. He sat next to Alya's seat. Adrien sat down next to me.

"Our food should be here any minute- Nino!" Alya said. Again, she got som looks from the others in the cafe. I giggled. "What are you doing here?" She asked, and ignored the looks people gave her. "I was put eating lunch with my bud Adrien here! Also, good to see you too babe." He said. Alya rolled her eyes and took a seat next to him.

"If your food is gonna be here soon, we should probably go order soon as well. Right Adrien?" Nino said. "What do you want? I'll order for us!" He said with a sly smirk. I was confused. "Oh, no worries! I can come with!" Adrien said. "No man! I can do it. Maybe you can help me ALYA!" Nino said. Alya smirked. "Suuuuureee babeeee!" She said... Something was definitely up... Alya is never this excited about stuff like this...

Adrien sighed. "I'll take the breakfast croissant and a chai latte please." He said. Nino nodded and him and Alya went to order.

"What was that about? Why were they like that?" I asked. "Hahhaah... I- I don't know! They're just a bit... odd?" He said. It sounded as more of a question, but I decided to ignore it.

"Oh! By the way Adrien! Have you been practicing for the play yet?" I asked. "Yeah! I've actually been practicing with Pla- Plants!" He said. "Plants?" I asked. "Yeah... I- uh, don't have any pets or stuffed animals to practice with, so I... Practice with my... Plants..." he said. "Oh, okay... I have a few stuffed animals... I practice with them so..." I said. Of course I actually practiced with Tikki, but I couldn't tell him that.

"We're back!" Alya said. Behind her and Nino was a waitress with ma and Alya's food. She put it down to us, I gave her a thankful smile. She smiled back. "Do you want us to wait for your food to come before we eat?" I asked Adrien and Nino. "Oh no! Go ahead!" Adrien said. I smiled before I started eating.

"So? What were you talking about before we came?" Alya asked. "We talked about the play! I'm really excited! You're an excellent author Alya!" I said and smiled. She grinned. "Thanks girl! I worked my ass of with that play." She laughed. I laughed as well.

"I bet you will do an awesome job y/n! I think we definitely picked the best person to play Belle!"  Alya said. I laughed. "I'm not that good..." I said and rubbed my neck awkwardly.

And this is how the lunch went. We talked and ate. It was a fun time. Then we all went home.

I stood on my balcony that night, and looked into the darkness...

It was calm, and nice. I liked this...

"Hey..." I heard. I jumped. I turned around, and there stood Chat Noir. "Oh. Hey chat." I said and smiled at him. He smiled back. It had been a while since I had seen Chat as y/n... Actually, I don't think I've seen him since... New Years...

"How are you?" He asked. "I've been doing good. I got the lead role in a school play my friend wrote!" I said and grinned. "Really? That's great princess!" Chat said and hugged me. I grinned and hugged him back. I loved his hugs. His arms were closely wrapped tightly around my waist. My arms were closely wrapped around his neck. I felt secure. I felt loved.

He finally pulled apart. "I should go now princess..." he said softly, while smiling a loving smile at me. "Of course..." I whispered softly back. He hugged me one last time. Then he looked at me. Right into my eyes. Then, I SWORE I saw his eyes shift down to my lips. I looked at him... And I couldn't help but glance at his lips as well...

And before I knew it, we both leaned forwards. And his lips touched mine. He placed his arms around my waist lightly, not as tight as our hug. I placed my hands in his blonde locks, and stroked them lightly... 

The kiss was soft, and passionate. 

Then, we pulled away. He put a strand of hair behind my ear. "See you soon princess." He said, before he leaped into the night.

Then, a question struck me again.

We're we a couple now?

I mean, he never actually asked so I guess not. 

I wonder if he ever will... I thought and sighed a sigh filled with love and wonder...
