Tubbos POV
"So how are you and Y/n?" Ranboo asks, leaning his head on his hand.
I hummed, tilting my head, "Good, good," I sighed with a smile.
He looked up at his screen, raising an eyebrow, "Care to elaborate?" He chuckled.
My face turned into a slight shade of red and glared at my camera. He chuckled again, raising his hands in the air.
We talked for a little while longer before a knock sounded on his side of the call.
"Ranboo, it's time for dinner," His mother said, peeking into his room. He nodded,
"Okay, I'll be right out," She nodded and left, closing the door behind her.
"Well you heard mother dearest," I chuckled.
He nodded quickly, "Goodnight Tubbo, talk to you tomorrow?"
I nodded, "Yup, lore stream tomorrow, better not be late,"
"We just love torturing chat don't we," He laughed.
"We are just a bunch of traumatized kids at this point," I smiled, "Night Ranboob,"
He stopped laughing, sending daggers through my screen with his eyes.
"Damn, if looks could kill," I laughed nervously, "I can see why people were scared of you with your hood up,"
He smiled, "Yeah, yeah, well talk to you later,"
"Night hottie," I smirked, he rolled his eyes and ended the call.
I turned off my pc, standing up, and stretching.
I go downstairs, expecting to see Y/n at the table or on the couch reading but don't see them anywhere. I raise an eyebrow, heating up some food and going back upstairs to look for them.
When I find them, they are leaning their head on their hand, slouched in their chair, and staring vacantly at their screen.
They raise their head to look at me when I enter, sitting up straighter.
"Y/n," I sigh, leaning on the door.
"Don't say it," They wave their hand at me from across the room, "I need to finish this work before dawn," Their eyes turn back to the screen and they continue typing away.
I sigh again, making my way over to them and resting my arms on the back of their chair. They slump down, resting their head on the desk before turning to look at me.
"I need to work Tubbo," They emphasize by gesturing to their screen.
I lean my head on my arms, looking down at them with a frown.
Y/n's POV
That look again, I'm just letting him down. I should have done this quicker.
Anxiety builds up in my chest thinking about how many people I have disappointed.
"I'm sorry," I look down.
He raises an eyebrow, a confused look flashing through his features, "Why are you sorry?"
Does he really think I haven't realized how much of a dead weight I am?
"That I'm not working hard enough, I've let you down," I looked up at him, his face flashed with anger and I flinched.
"You're overworking yourself," He exclaims standing up straight, eyes wide, "you haven't let me down, I've let you down,"
I look at him confused, I hardly help with the bills-
"All you do is work, your boss is an asshat and you don't even enjoy what you do," He looks at me, cutting off my thoughts, "You haven't let anyone down,"
I sigh, he's just being nice about it.
"Please, come downstairs with me, let's watch a movie," He lightly shakes my shoulder, making me look at him, "You deserve a break,"
I look back at my computer, "I need to finish this though, he'll fire me if I'm late again,"
"Well tell him to go fuck off," I turn to him, eyes wide with horror, "Don't give him the time of day if he's that big of an ass,"
"He is still my boss Tubbo, telling him off, if he's deserving of it or not, will compromise any other chance I have of a job like this again,"
He sighed, flopping down in the office chair on the other side of the desk.
"Please, take a break," My shoulders slumped, do I deserve it? No, but it's not for me.
"Fine," I mumble, closing the computer and grabbing the charger.
"YES," He yells, throwing his hands up.
I look at him, standing from my seat and cracking my back, "Why are you so excited?"
"Because you have barely been out of this room at all the last few months," He says with a smile, hugging me.
I hug him back weakly, trying to remember the last time we hung out by ourselves. The only times were when he was done streaming and wanted to keep me company so he sat in the office chair on his phone. I felt bad, I always ignored him when all he wanted was to hang out.
He lets go after a moment, turning with a smile, "Let's go wats something,"
I follow him as he goes downstairs, watching as he jumps onto the couch. He moves so his back is pressed against the cushions of the couch, opening his arms so I could lay in front of him.
I grabbed the remote and accepted his invitation, laying back as he wrapped his arms around my middle.
He sighed in content, resting his head in the crook of my neck. I reached up and patted his head, running my fingers through his fluffy hair.
We turned on the tv, picking out a random movie to chill out to. After a while I heard soft snores next to my ear, I turned my head slightly to see him knocked out.
I giggled, turning down the volume of the movie and turning to lay on my back. His arms unconsciously tightened their grip around me and he wrapped his legs around my own. He rested the side of his head on my chest as I fiddled with his hair.
Maybe he really doesn't think I'm useless, I smiled a bit.
"Wuve you," Tubbo hummed in his sleep, tucking his head under my chin. My heart melted and I hugged him back.
