Kevin had no idea how he'd ended up in this situation, but he felt as if he'd been thrown into an episode of Queer Eye out of nowhere.
The last few days had been rather... eventful, to say the least. After agreeing to sit with the older girls at lunch, he'd somehow ended up doing it again... and again... to the point where he now felt as if he was being treated as some sort of adopted son.
They all constantly coddled him like some sort of precious little newcomer and acted extra extra nice... although Jacob had jokingly warned Kevin in private to "just wait" for their true behavior to come out.
Now, though? This was the strangest situation yet, and Jacob certainly was not helping this time around. In fact, he was the main part of the problem, and the girls were merely his accomplices.
The group of five was messily shoved into a cramped storage closet, the girls shining colored lights and messing with Kevin's clothes while Jacob snapped pictures, snickering to himself behind the camera.
"You guys are so weird!" Kevin whined, despite making no move at all to stop one of the girls— probably Miyeon, although he couldn't see her well in the dark— from putting some sort of accessories into his hair.
"You're like a model. It's not every day we get to dress up someone for a photoshoot," Soyeon commented as she leaned in to touch up a light amount of eyeshadow on Kevin with a makeup brush.
He liked it more when Jacob did his makeup, obviously, but at least Soyeon was rather gentle with it. There were no complaints on that front.
"Yuqi stopped letting them doll her up for modeling shoots so they need a new victim," Jacob remarked, teasingly, before getting hit on the shoulder by Soojin.
Ten or twenty minutes went by... Kevin figured Jacob had probably taken hundreds of pictures by now, and wondered just when the hell he would be freed from this cramped room.
"You done yet?" Kevin asked, tapping his foot with impatience. The girls seemed to be laughing at something on their phones, and nudging Jacob with a grin.
"What...?" Kevin furrowed his eyebrows, questioning their behavior.
"You should see the picture he posted of you," Soojin snorted, leaning over Jacob's shoulder to see what the boy was doing on his phone.
"He what?" Kevin asked, before fumbling to pull his phone out in a hurry. "Jacob, I swear, it better be a good one at least—" he ranted as he navigated through his apps, Jacob only giving a little giggle in reply.
As he opened the Instagram app, the post he was looking for appeared in front of him, being the very first thing on his feed.
