It was only 8:00 in the morning, and the day was already going badly for Kevin Moon.

He'd woken up that morning to his pillowcase streaked with black eyeliner, a reminder of last night's mistake.
He was too tired to even deal with it, and only tried to wash the smudged makeup off of his face as he got ready for school.

Maybe he should've invested in a less cheap non-drugstore liner, Kevin thought as he walked to school. Now he had to wash his pillowcase without either of his parents noticing it.

He entered the hallways of the school, breathing a sigh of relief that it wasn't that crowded yet.

His plan of action for the next hours came to mind. All he had to do was find one of his friends, initiate skinship, and go about his day.

Kevin made his way over towards one of the English classrooms, where he knew Eric would probably be. The boy had mentioned having that class as his first period, and he thankfully always arrived a little bit early.

"Yo, Eric," Kevin called out as he saw the boy leaning against the wall, chatting happily to a boy next to him.

Eric turned to look at who'd called him, and smiled upon seeing who it was.
"You're early as hell today, Kev. What gives?" he spoke teasingly as Kevin padded over to him.

Kevin shrugged. "Woke up early, I guess," he said, matching Eric's expression.

"You not gonna introduce me?" the boy Eric had been talking to spoke, nudging Eric with his shoulder.

Kevin looked up at the dark haired boy, who gave a little wave.

"Oh, um, yeah. Kevin... this is Juyeon," Eric spoke, gesturing towards the male in question.

"Aren't you the one who...?" Juyeon began to question as he looked at Kevin. He seemed to choose to shut up, dismissing whatever he was going to say.

"Never mind. Nice to meet you, man," he finished, giving him a grin.

Kevin mumbled a similar sentiment in reply. He recognized Juyeon's name... this was the boy Eric had called yesterday.

The three chatted for a little while, and Kevin seemed a little surprised by how comfortable he felt. He was kinda tired of avoiding Eric... maybe he'd just needed to reconnect with his old friend.

His mission reappeared in his mind immediately. He had to start acting touchy with him, just to test the theory.

He stared at Eric for a moment, the male explaining something to Juyeon as he gestured with his hands.

Kevin suddenly really didn't want to do this. Sure, he could probably get away with it fine, but...

He honestly had no desire to touch him. And it kinda stressed Kevin out.

"Hey, Kevin!" a girl's voice called out from behind him. He whipped around to see a blur of pigtails running over to him from across the hall.

"Hi," Kevin greeted her happily as soon as he registered who she was. Song Yuqi stood in front of him, adjusting the belt on her skirt as it had come a little loose from running.

"Do you wanna be my partner for the history project?" she asked, reminding Kevin of the class they usually sat together in.
"Apparently we had to find partners for today and I waited too long," she begged, pulling on his wrist gently.
