Kevin took a swig of his tea, pretending like he wasn't absolutely dying internally.
In his peripheral vision he could see the arm that had been draped over his shoulders, belonging to an individual who silently was checking his phone in the seat next to him.
He looked to his left, seeing Jacob texting someone, but unable to read what it was that he was saying. Perhaps he should have brought his glasses today.
Jacob, meanwhile, absentmindedly tapped a rhythm against Kevin's arm with his free hand, the younger unable to move away due to his secure hold.
Kevin sat for a moment, waiting as the other continued texting. He really was craving the other's attention right about now, although Jacob had barely been on his phone for even a short time.
He reached over, picking up the elder's cup of bubble tea and bringing it over to himself.
It was some sort of sweet milk tea that he hadn't tried before, which Kevin deemed as a decent excuse to do this.He quietly sipped it, deeming it as a good flavor as he waited for the other to finish whatever he was doing.
Jacob looked up eventually, shoving his phone in his pocket. "Sorry, I-" he stopped, his gaze landing on the drink Kevin was holding.
"Is that...?" he began to ask, only seeing Kevin grin in response.
Jacob shook his head, leaning back against the comfortable seat. "You wanna go walk around or something?" he inquired. "It's not that late yet."
Kevin only took another sip of Jacob's drink, thinking over the offer.
"Sure," he agreed after a moment, "why not?"Jacob snatched his drink back from the other before he could finish the rest, prompting a pout from Kevin. Jacob lightly teased him over it as the pair stood up, collecting their trash to throw away.
Ten minutes later, they were outside. The pair walked close together, heading somewhat towards the nearby river.
They came across a bench in an open space, surprisingly with no one else around.
"You wanna try out some of the stuff we got?" Jacob asked as they stopped at the bench.
Kevin readily agreed, plopping down on it and setting his things aside."This looks so cool," Kevin commented as he pulled out an eyeliner stamp he'd bought, its easiness seeming so tempting.
"Yeah," Jacob agreed, applying a chapstick from his pocket while the other pulled out items from the bag. "Those are really good for my lazy days."
"Lazy days? I can barely do eyeliner at all, give me a break," Kevin spoke jokingly, putting the pen back in the bag.
"That's all you need me for," Jacob replied. "Just doing the eyeliner."
"Shut up," Kevin responded sheepishly. "It's more than that."
Jacob only giggled at the words. "I know," he said with a pretty smile. "You haven't asked me to do your makeup in a little while."
Kevin loved the playful look on the elder's face. "Well I might need you to do it right now, because I don't have a mirror."
