-2 months later-
Naruto was walking to his home after the hellish training he had to undure. He recently found some books in the library about fuinjutsu, and has been sending clones to work on that exclusively. Shadow clones have been a blessing for the young boy, usually shinobi don't learn this technique until they're jonin, because of the amount of chakra it consumes. But since Naruto had kage-level reserves without kurama, this wasn't an issue. In fact, Naruto's limit was about 1000 clones. Pair that with the sharingan, which gives its user photographic memory, and he can learn any jutsu or style faster than almost anyone in the village.
The next day he walked to his training ground to find out his chakra nature. He already knew he would have fire, since he's an Uchiha, but he wanted to see if he had anything else with it.
While walking to the fields, he sensed a presence he recognized in the woods. Running to it, he found that it was Hinata. She was curled up in a ball and sounded like she was crying. He ran to he and asked "Hinata, what's wrong?" She looked up and saw that it was Naruto and hugged him.
"Hey, hey, it's OK. It's OK. I'm here for you now." Naruto said trying to get her to stop crying.
Eventually, Hinata fell asleep in Naruto's arms because she started lightly snoring. He carried her to his house for her to rest. He laid her down on his bed and sat beside her.
-a few hours later-
Hinata opened her eyes to an unfamiliar room and started to get scared. She frantically looked around the room until her eyes landed on Naruto, who was sleeping in a chair nearby. She instantly calmed down after seeing him and lay back down on her bed, coincidentally right when Naruto began to wake up.
"You were out for a while. What happened, why were you out in the woods crying?" Naruto asked in a calm tone to try get as calm of an answer he can get.
Hinata was a bit taken surprised at his tone, but answered. "M-my father said I w-was to w-weak to be t-the heir to the c-clan. S-so they b-branded me with the branch family s-seal, and b-banished me from the c-clan." She said as tears where starting to form.
Naruto's anger was rising as she was explaining, but he held it down for now. "You're not weak, I can tell you're just not being trained the right way, am I right?" He asked and got a nod in response, so he continued. "If you want, I can help train you... and... give you a place to stay." He said referring to his place. A blush formed on both their cheeks as he said that last part. "T-that's only if you want to of course." He quickly said after.
"W-why would you go that f-far for me, we barely even know each other?" She asked.
"Because, unlike these ignorant villagers, I can take care of people properly." Hinata was a bit worried when he said this. Just how bad was Naruto treated to make him like this.
"I-is how you were t-treated because of the k-kyuubi?" She asked, much to Naruto's surprise.
"H-how did you know?" He asked worried that he'll lose a friend.
"With my byakugan, I-I can see the chakra inside people, w-with you I can see the normal blue chakra. But I can also s-see red chakra inside you, so I did some research and j-just assumed the k-kyuubi was sealed in you." She explained and Naruto understood.
"Are you afraid of me now?" He asked In a low tone.
"No. I'll never be afraid if you because of something you hold." She said confidentiality, surprising Naruto. "Now, can you tell me why the yondaime sealed it in you?" She said continuing her confident speaking.
"He. The kyuubi is a he not an it. And the reason I'm his jinchuriki is because the yondaime is my father." He said with a bit of pride. Hinata's eyes widened, and when she looked at him now, she could tell that they looked very similar to the pictures of the yondaime that she has seen.
