Sasuke sat in a chair with his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. He had been contemplating everything that had happened the last few hours. Everything from the war to his friends, but one thing stood at the forefront: Naruto, and a bunch of questions regarding him.

Sasuke was sitting in a large medical tent with a curtain near the back, showing two silhouettes standing by a table behind it. They were talking, but he was so focused on thinking he didn't even notice. After a few minutes of this went by, the front flap of the tent opened, and Tobirama and Kakashi walked in, finally making Sasuke look up.

"How is everyone?" Sasuke asked. "Ino is finally in a calm state and is sleeping, and we stopped Choji's hands from bleeding a while ago, so he's doing fine. Other than them, everyone else only got minor injuries." Kakashi answered. Sasuke felt relief.

Suddenly, the curtain in the back was opened by Sakura to reveal she and Hashirama were the ones back there with the covered body of Naruto on the table. "I don't know what you expected us to do with him in there. But we can't bring him back." Hashirama said to Sasuke.

"B-But you were only in there for 5 minutes. Surely there was to be something you could do." Sasuke pleaded with the Kage. "I didn't even need to be in there for a minute to know he was beyond saving. His injuries are just too great. And besides, he most likely wouldn't want to be revived anyway." Hashirama said.

Sasuke wanted to argue, but he couldn't. He knew he couldn't.

"Of course he wouldn't, he literally said he didn't want to stay alive in this god-forsaken world. And honestly? I don't blame him at all." Everyone turned their heads to see that Madara was sitting in a chair across from Sasuke.

"You gonna say something to not bum us out?" Hashi said. "I'm just saying the kid wanted to die, and we should respect that."

"Weren't you just trying to kill us all, too? Why would you care about his wish?" Tobirama asked the unusually calm Uchiha. "Because there's no point anymore. Long story short, he ruined EVERY SINGLE FUCKING PLAN I HAD! So yeah, I'm not in a fighting mood anymore." Madara yelled out in frustration.

"Plans like?" Hashi asked. "You know I planned on being revived, right? The only way that would've happened is for someone other than myself to have a pair of rinnegan, which I at one point had and entrusted to Obito. They were destroyed though, and from what Zetsu told me, Naruto was the one to do so. Speaking of Zetsu, he's made from the Gedo Mazo, and worked as a spy for me, and since Naruto is my descendant, Zetsu followed his orders as well, and didn't tell Obito that small detail...I'm not going to tell any other plan." Madara said as he looked away and crossed his arms.

"He knew." Tobirama said, gaining the attention of everyone. "He knew something like this would happen, so he prevented it from getting worse before it even started."

"He's smart, a lot smarter of a fighter than I initially gave him credit for, I'll give him that. It's honestly a miracle he didn't kill any of us." Madara said. "Wait, did he even kill anyone during all of that? I know he injured a few people, but I don't think anyone died besides maybe lord third." Kakashi said.

"I told you he's not a bad guy. But something happened between him and the sandaime that we don't know." Sasuke said. "Well...what it was, we might not get to know if he did kill lord third." Kakashi said to Sasuke.

"I honestly doubt he did, Orochimaru said that you can't simply destroy a reanimation. You have to-" "OROCHIMARU'S ALIVE?!" Sasuke yelled out loud, cutting Tobirama off his sentence. "He is, he also said that you failed to kill him in the past. But as I was saying, you can only stop a reanimation by forcing the caster of the jutsu to undo it, or to forcefully rip the soul from their artificial body. I'm guessing you didn't know that either." Tabirama calmly said to Sasuke, who looked down, slightly embarrassed due to his outburst.
