-2 years later, October 10th-
Two more years have passed and both Naruto and Hinata have grown more than they thought they would in that time by far. For kids, they were around low chunin level in skill, although by this point, they both had kage level reserves. Naruto specifically, having four times the sandaime's amount, from Kurama's estimate, at least.
Hinata, since she physically couldn't do the normal gentle fist, decided to create her own style using her water affinity. She used her natural flexibility to dodge attacks and hit the opponent in fast succession. She named this style the flowing fist, and she improves this style as she gets stronger. They estimated that this style might eventually surpass the gentle fist in lethality, becoming the new strongest taijutsu style.
Normally on days like this, they would wake up, exercise, eat breakfast, then go to their training field to train. However today, things were different. Today was Naruto's tenth birthday, but that's not why they didn't go train. Today is also when everyone celebrates the day the yondaime defeated the kyuubi and saved the village. Everyone would go out and party all day and night, with basically no restrictions. Today was a happy day for all, except for Naruto.
Instead of being hailed as a hero for holding the kyuubi back as he should be, people saw him as the kyuubi itself, and decided, as a whole, to try and kill the demon and finish what the fourth started. This went on for years, until three years ago, Naruto stopped coming out of his house because he found Hinata around this time. They all knew where he lived and wanted to destroy the place, but if the hokage found his house like that, they would be found out and quickly executed, so they stopped attacking his house all together.
Even with the villagers not attacking anymore, Naruto still hated this day. He hates a lot of things about this village, but still wants to prove that he can be a hero.
Knowing today is his birthday, Hinata got up before Naruto did and put the purple ribbon covering her seal, on. She knows all about the treatment he gets and tries to make up for it by celebrating it with him. She always tries to do better than last years little party so this year she went to Ichiraku's ramen to get a surprise dinner for him, too. She placed a seal on it, taught to her by Naruto, to mask the smell of it and put it in another seal to keep it warm for later.
When Naruto woke up, he found Hinata not with him. He got up and smelled something good coming from the kitchen. He got dressed and went in to find Hinata making breakfast. "Good morning Hina-hime." He said walking up to her and hugging her from behind.
Once the food was ready, they sat down and ate. "How come the food you make is always better than mine, it's not fair." Naruto said after taking a bite. Hinata giggled at his antics. "Well that's something that I'm better than you at, at least." Hinata said back.
"By the way, what do you want to do today, I doubt you wanna stay in here all day like last time." Hinata asked.
Naruto thought for a second and decided. "I think we can finally go outside again." He said much to the shock of Hinata. "Why do you wanna go out, won't the villagers try and find you?" She asked worried that he might get hurt out there.
"I feel like if we hide ourselves then we can just act like normal kids out there." He explained. "I don't think a normal henge will work if shinobi our out there though. So we just have to where masks and we'll be fine." He continued.
"I guess I understand, but we have to be careful out there." She said understandably worried. "Don't worry, I won't make stupid mistakes, I'll be extra careful, I just wanna see what that festival has in it, are you OK with that?" He asked.
Hinata sighed in defeat and answered. "OK we can go, but be careful." She said, repeated the last part again, making sure he got the message. "Of course, I promise we'll make it back."
