25 - Fighting For What

A five on one fight isn't what Naruto was expecting when he woke up today. But he'll be damned if he let them get the upper hand even for a moment. He even challenged himself to not use clones and try and do this on his own, using only sage mode.

All to make this a challenge.

Naruto dodged more attacks from Kakuzu and several of Sasori's puppets. He threw a puppet into a few others, destroying them. Kakuzu jumped back and did some hand signs to send several earth spikes in Naruto's direction. In retaliation, Naruto activated the chidori and rushed Kakuzu while destroying some spikes, who tried to strengthen his skin using another earth jutsu.

It wasn't enough to stop the chidori, and Naruto pierced Kakuzu's heart with no remorse. He removed his hand from Kakuzu's chest and felt something hit his left shoulder. He looked and saw a white bug-like creature just staring at him.

"KATSU!" Naruto heard above him. Suddenly the bug started swelling and blew up, creating a much larger explosion that Naruto was expecting. The blast sent him flying threw a building, and landing inside another large room.

Naruto tried to stand up, but fell to one knee. His skin was mostly fine thanks to him coating it with a thin layer of chakra, but it couldn't stop his shoulder from being dislodged from its socket. Naruto pulled a three-pronged kunai from his hip pouch and put the handle in his mouth to bite down on. He took a few deep breaths and grabbed his limp shoulder, and with a grunt, painfully forced his shoulder back into place.

After a few seconds, the pins and needles feeling from his arm went away as blood entered his arm again. Being able to move his arm again, he grabbed the kunai from his mouth, but as he opened his jaw, the kunai fell to the ground with the handle in pieces. He grunted in annoyance.

He then heard a loud noise that sounded like something was summoned nearby. Right after, he heard giant footsteps getting louder and louder, coming right toward him.

The walls busted down, showing a giant, charging rhino. He jumped on the horn and got in between its eyes as it crashed through the opposite wall. The rhino started swinging its head from side to side to try to get Naruto off, unsuccessfully. Naruto punched the rhinos head so his fist was piercing the skin.

"Insta-rasengan." Naruto whispered, creating a rasengan so fast, it disintegrated everything within a spherical area, and moved everything else out of the way.

In other words, the inside of the rhinos skull exploded, making blood come out of its eyes and ears. It fell over, disappearing in a cloud of smoke as it landed. Naruto calmly walked out from the smoke and looked around for enemies, and was disappointed when he didn't see anyone.

He was about to use sage mode but was Interupted by three missiles coming right towards him. He jumped away and started running around the city quickly, faster than the missiles could fly. He looked behind him and saw a figure standing on one of the buildings, with the missiles coming from him, but couldn't make out any features.

He continued to run around, until he was stopped by a scythe swinging towards him. Hidan was back up, and ready to fight again. They started to brawl, but Hidan quickly realized he was clearly outmatched by Naruto's quick movements and counter-attacks. He swung the scythe one more time, but when the blade was about to hit, Hidan noticed Naruto had thrown a kunai towards his neck.

Right before the scythe blades were about to hit Naruto's neck, he teleported in a yellow flash right behind Hidan. He grabbed the kunai he threw mid-air and jammed it into Hidan's neck, making him fall to his knees. He rearranged his grip on the kunai and sliced off Hidan's neck like butter.

Hidan's head hit the ground and rolled a few feet away. "YOU BITCH!" Hidan yelled out, much to Naruto's surprise. "The hell? How are you still talking?" Naruto asked the head. "HA, Jashin-sama would never let his most valuable ally die! You can try to kill me, but I'll always come back." Hidan warned.
