"Good morning" I heard Steve's morning voice saying as I opened my eyes while he was stroking my hair in my bed.

I smiled.

"Good morning, Mr. Captain America"

"Oh, I see what you're into" He said laughing.

"Idiot" I said joking.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Sort of"

"I knew I should've slept on the couch"

"It's not because of you. I'm glad you stayed here to protect me. I've been having some random nightmares"

"I'm sorry I don't have a rose to make you feel better today. Not yet"

"Your presence make me happy enough and I have too many roses! Please, don't buy new ones, save some money and protect the roses" I said.

He gave me a big kiss on my lips.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" He asked.

Suddenly, I remembered the phone call and message from the night before. I wanted to tell Steve, but I didn't want him to know my secret. Not yet. I wasn't ready to explain it to him.

At least I was now sure that he wasn't one of the suspects I had in mind. The possible suspects that left the suit on my bed the other day.

"Yes. You can hug me, maybe?"

As soon as I mentioned the word "hug", Steve opened his strong muscular arms to hug me tightly.

"Mind if I leave you to use the bathroom?"

"I do, actually. You're not going anywhere!" I said with a serious face.

"Okay. I'll just pee right here"

"Don't you dare! Just go! Quickly!"

We both laughed and Steve left to go to the bathroom.

Few moments later, I heard someone knocking on my door. Who could it be? A courier. It was odd because I already had all the things I had bought online.

"Riley Lewis?" The man said.

"Yes, that's me"

"This is for you"

The man handed me a box.

"Who is this from?"

"I don't know, miss. This was a special delivery and I don't get paid to answer any questions. Have a nice day"

"What if I pay you?"

"I said have a nice day, miss"

The guy left and I closed the door.

"Who was that and why did you want to pay him?" Steve asked confused behind me.

"Oh- I bought something online, just got it, and the postman was being flirty. I wanted to pay him to leave. That's all"

"If I knew, I'd take good care of him. Is it normal to receive stuff on the weekends? I never order anything online as you can imagine, so I don't know"

"It's not common but they have that special service if you pay more for it"

"That must be really important, you even paid more only to get it earlier"
