RILEY'S P.O.V.

On the day after my amazing appearance on the news, I felt like I should keep trying to play the hero. It was harder than anyone could ever imagine, but I had to try. I had to stop being seen as a thief.

It was Saturday, which meant I didn't have to work. I got in my suit all day and, without being seen, searched the city looking for the worst to happen so I could help someone out.

Or at least try again if people didn't hate me already.

Nothing was happening. Super-hero life can be so boring at times. How did they know when crimes were happening? I didn't have a way to listen to the police radio frequency like they do in the movies.

I spent an entire day walking and jumping around. Nothing happened, nobody saw me... what a waste of time.

Suddenly, while I was resting in the top of my favourite building, Spidey showed up.

"Finally found you" He said.

"Finally?"

"Been trying all day. All week actually"

All day? I walked around all day and didn't see him!!!

"You miss me that much?" I asked.

"Are you okay, Felicia?"

I almost forgot I told him Felicia was my real name.

"Yes. I'm great. And you?"

"I'm fine. You know you're being seen as a thief, right?"

"Right. I know what I am"

"I know you weren't stealing"

"But?"

"But- I don't really know you"

"You don't have to, we don't have to be friends or anything" I said.

"But I would love to. You seem nice and funny. And that kiss-"

"Never happened" I interrupted.

"Why are you pretending it didn't happen now? You were the one with the initiative"

"I know but- I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. I really don't know what I had in mind to do such crazy thing"

"It's okay. We can seen it as a kiss between friends"

"I've got a boyfriend"

Spidey didn't say a word and didn't seem surprised either.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that. I shouldn't have kissed you" I said.

"That's why you were acting so weird after the kiss and you kept disappearing over and over again"

"Yes"

"You should've told me"

"I'm sorry again. The worst part is that I liked it and-"

Spider-Man started smiling.

"My boyfriend is an amazing guy, I just haven't seen him in a while as he's always busy working lately. I think that's messing up with my head"

"Maybe you don't like him anymore" He said.

"I think I do"

"You just said you think. You're not sure"

Spidey kept getting closer and closer to me.

"I do like him a lot"

"You shouldn't be this unhappy if you like him"

"I never said I was unhappy"
