Chapter 1

Emily Pov

As i'm running down the hall way with Hotch, We hear someone's scream coming from behind. Rushing towards the noise we see the Unsub, Joseph Milkweed, holding a gun to his head
"Good luck agents. Now you don't have full team." Right before we can ask him, he shoots himself. Looking around the room we see two kids around the age of 4.
I begin to walk towards the kids. Crouching down I asked, " Hey guys, what are you names.?" The little girl starts to cry.
"It's me Jj, Em'ly and that Reid," she said pointing the boy next to her. Looking at Hotch, He couldn't believe it all. Finally rushing in Rossi and Morgan check out with the dead Unsub.
"Prentiss and Hotch, go take Jj and Reid to the doctors. Use one of your last names so it seems like it's your kids," Rossi said. Walking toward Jj, I picked her up making sure she was covered. She weighed very light. I can't help but feel a little happy about her putting her head at my neck, hiding her face. Hotch walks toward us with Reid and I can't help but aww on how cute Reid looks with his big glasses.
"Come on Prentiss let's go." Walking towards the car we realized that Jj and Reid needs booster seats so we decided I'll sit next to them. Both falling asleep during the car ride. 
We arrive at the hospital deciding it was better to use Hotch's last name.
"We're here to check out Jennifer and Spencer Hotchner," said hotch holding Jj while I hold Spencer.
"Are we going to be okay Em'ly. I don't want to be alone," Reid said looking scared.
"Don't worry you have us. You'll be find," I said. The doctor leading us to an exam room. I put Reid down and he was just interesting about explaining what each equipment does. Meanwhile Jj is just staring into space. What's wrong with her? Is she okay? I couldn't help but think?
Hotch Pov
Sitting in the examination room, I couldn't help but observe Jj and Reid. Reid seem to be doing fine, but Jj hasn't said a word after telling Emily who she was. Barely registering that I said Emily. I looked at Emily and she seemed to be in a deep thought.
Leaning over I said, "Are you okay? You seem to be in a deep thought?" She jumped at my words and stared at me. Ever since she joined, I always felt something for her.(Sorry to those who loves Jack, he's not in the story)
"Huh yeah i'm okay.. it's just so weird seeing them like this you know," she whispered back.
Knocking on the door the doctor comes in.
