Chapter 30 (Kind of Eclipse Starts Now)

It's been a few months since the last Chapter so the Cullen's have already been made aware of the army and it's already been decided that Rose and Seth will sit out and watch the twins. Raeni also bought Paul a brand new Cherry Red Jeep customized just for him. Anyway on with the story!

Emmett and Raeni were on a date, the first date in over four months.

The date was simple a picnic in a flowery meadow so Emmett knew mother nature would enjoy every second of their date as long as they were outside and eating.

"You know I love you right?" Emmett asked after a moment of silence. "And not just because you gave me to incredible kids?"

"I know and I love you too," Raeni said not sure where this was going.

Lately, Emmett had been asking her these weird questions trying to see where her heads at, almost like he was scared she'd just up and leave him which was ridiculous. So to give him peace of mind Raeni answered all his questions even though she knew he knew the answer.

"Marry me."

Raeni raised an eyebrow before laughing and that worried Emmett even more. Was she going to reject him, take their two kids and leave?

"Is this why you've been so nervous?" Raeni asked caressing Emmett's cheek. "Of course I'll marry you Goofy."

Emmett tackled Raeni giving her butterfly kisses all across her face he was now the happiest man in the world, he was sure of it.

He could see it now Raeni McCarty Cullen.

"I love you Em."

"I love you to Rae."

The couple smiled at each other before Raeni's phone began to ring.

"Hello," Raeni said putting the phone on speaker.

"Come get these badass kids," Gabby said through the phone. "Malik said my speech was stupid and I told him I'd throw him out of a window and do you know what this hoodlum said?"

"No, but I'm sure you're going to tell me."

"He said he'd bite me! His precious god mom." Gabby said before rolling her eyes. "Emmett said you two would be out for an hour and a half it's been two come get these kids."

"We're coming," Emmett told her.

"Coming now right? I'm not waiting for the two of you to have sex in the grass do that on your own time, and you know what because the two of you decided to be late you guys can help me with this stupid graduation speech."

Before the couple could argue Gabby hung up the phone.

"I guess it's time to go," Raeni said helping Emmett pick up their belongings.

"It's okay we can fuck in the grass another time."

"Okay, the twins are napping let's get this speech done," Raeni said sitting beside a cranky Gabby.

"How about 'We are the future and anything is possible if you just believe," Emmett suggested earning a glare from his fiancé and best friend in law. "Add a few more words of encouragement and there you have a speech."

"That's stupid," Raeni said. "No offense."

"You agreed to marry a dumb ass," Gabby said before looking down at the blank piece of paper. "Not that I can talk I'm only the valedictorian is because I cheated during tests and homework."
