Raeni sat on her bedroom floor reading a bunch of baby name books while Emmett, the twins, Seth, and the rest of the family went out to play a friendly game of baseball.

Raeni was eight months pregnant with her third child a baby boy so she wouldn't be able to play even if she decided to go, not that she was complaining she didn't want to play anyway.

Apparently using plants to trip other players was cheating according to everyone who had been tripped or grabbed by their ankles. 

They were all sore losers.

Raeni pulled her phone out of her back pocket before sending a quick text to her mother.

'Adonis?'

'A greek name that translates to lord. A fitting name for a prince, you're father approves.'

When Raeni had found out she was pregnant again she had decided she wanted at least one of her kids to have a greek name considering the fact that she was half greek. 

The twins got island names so she was determined to name her third child something greek. 

So far she had a decent sized list she had been adding to for quite some time now there was...

•Adonis translates to lord. (He was also a handsome young man that was loved by Aphrodite.)

• Adrian a greek name meaning water or a sea of water.

• Andrew a greek name meaning a born warrior who is manly or brave.

• Ares the name of the god of war (if he's anything like his father he'll be super strong)

• Caius obviously that's the name of her father.

Raeni wasn't sure what she wanted to name her son but she was leaning more towards Caius, Ares, and Apollo.

Emmett didn't really care what Raeni named him as long as it wasn't over the top ridiculous something Raeni could understand.

"We're back!" She heard Malik yell entering the house followed by his father and sister.

"What did I tell you about yelling in my house?" Raeni yelled.

"Not to do it."

"I told you not to do it." She heard Ayanna snicker.

"I wish you'd shut up." He said squinting his eyes at his sister. "Don't you have a dog to chase?"

"What are you jealous that you don't have a mate."

"Of course not why would I want a mate that I'd have to give a flea bath to."

"I don't know why your talking crap, we all know Seth's your best friend and if he asked for a flee bath you'd help."

"Your just mad he prefers hanging out with me over you. Wake up Ayanna not every guy likes to shop!"

"Cut it out you too," Emmett said stopping them before they went too far and got into a physical fight.

"But dad-"

"You heard what he said, Ayanna," Raeni said coming down the stairs. "If the two of you fight in my house again, I'll strangle the both of you. You guys know better."

"Yes ma'am"

"Yes ma'am"

"Good now that we're on the same page how was the game?" Raeni asked once everyone was seated in the living room.

"Your sons a cheater," Emmett said squinting his eyes at his firstborn.

"I have no idea what you're talking about..."

"Oh, so the grass that was tripping and grabbing people was a coincidence," Ayanna asked rolling her eyes.

"I don't see how using the powers I was born with cheating. In what baseball rulebook does it say I can't use my powers."

"The vampire baseball rule book."

"That's not a thing." Raeni and Malik say at the same time before high fiving.

"You are definitely you're mother's son," Emmett muttered under his breath even though he knew everyone would be able to hear him.

"Yeah, they're both cheaters." Ayanna cosigned.

"You should've come mom," Malik said ignoring Ayanna. "You missed Seth catching a ball in his mouth.

"Wait a damn minute! So if I use my powers I'm a cheater but Seth can be a literal dog when he plays outfield!"

"I know right they're all hypocrites," Malik said shaking his head. "I'm sorry I don't grow fur and walk on four legs."

"Seth playing as a dog doesn't sabotage other players," Emmett says surprisingly sticking up for his daughter's mate.

Over time Emmett came to accept Seth into their family even if he did sometimes smell like a wet dog.

Seth made his daughter happy and that's all he could really ask for.

"So what did you do while we were gone?" Ayanna asked looking up from her phone.

"Nothing really just looking up a few baby names."

"We're still doing Greek names right?" Emmett asked.

"Yeah... right now I'm leaning towards Ares, Adonis, and Caius."

"Speaking of how is grandpa Caius and grandma Samara? We haven't seen them in like three months." Malik asks.

"From what I've heard everything's been fine... your aunts getting on everyone's last nerve.... she tried to throw a party in the throne room."

"Poor Marcus," Emmett said holding in a laugh. "Your aunt is something else."

"Yeah, well she's mellowed out a lot since she met Uncle Marcus."

"Yeah because he's giving her some of that kingly di-"

"Malik!"

"My bad but in my defense, we were all thinking it."

"No, we weren't." Ayanna said looking at her brother in disgust."Who wants to think about Aunt Marie fu-"

"Ayanna!"

"Sorry, mom."

Raeni looked at her kids before shaking her head her family was something else but she wouldn't trade them for anything.

Awww I love how they all take time out of their day to just sit there and talk to each other. Their family gives me life which is ironic because they're vampires 🤣🤣
