Can You Feel It?

Chapter 33

I changed Seth's age in this so he will no longer be 15 he'll be 16. So you don't have to tell me about how I got ages wrong because I already know and it was on purpose. Anyway... on with the story!!

It was noon and the sun was shining and despite that, the Cullen's (except for Rose), Raeni, the twins, and Gabby all stood outside in workout clothes ready to start training.

Gabby and the twins weren't going to be participating but Gabby still dressed in workout clothes because she didn't want to be left out.

According to her, she looks like a bad bitch in her black leggings and her plain blue Nike shirt.

"When will the wolves be here." Gabby groaned leaning against Edward. "It's hot as hell out here got me burning to a crisp."

"Language," Esme said pointing to the twins.

"My bad problem children." She said to the twins who were sitting on a log happily drinking their apple juice.

"There they are," Edward said noticing the pack of wolves coming through the trees. "They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms."

"They came, that's what matters. Will you translate?" Carlisle asked.

Edward didn't verbally answer instead he nodded his head and before Carlisle could continue two blurs rushed past the group and to the wolves.

"Doggy!" Malik said hugging Paul while Ayanna ran to Seth.

"Mine." She said tightly holding on to his fur.

Edward looked between Ayanna and Seth before looking at Raeni and quickly putting his head down, he wanted no parts in any of that.

"I'm sorry about them," Emmett said with a small chuckle. "I can take them if you'd like."

"They don't mind if they stay," Edward said causing Emmett to relax and stay by his fiancé's side.

Raeni looked between her daughter Seth and Edward for a moment before her eyes widened. Edward slowly nodded his head when he felt Raeni's eyes on him and her suspicions were quickly confirmed.

Seth had imprinted on Ayanna.

Raeni wasn't mad but she was sure Emmett would be when she told him. To her imprinting wasn't a bad thing Seth is now Ayanna's protector, friend, and in the distant future a possible lover.

Being an imprint doesn't mean the two had to have a sexual relationship.

Being a wolf also ensured he wouldn't age while Ayanna did, according to the elders as long as the boys continue to shift they stay the same age. The good thing about that is Seth first shifted at sixteen but because of his growth spurt, he looks about seventeen eighteen and Ayanna would stop growing at eighteen. 

Raeni could already hear the wedding bells.

"Are you okay?" Emmett asked looking at the dazed look on Raeni's face. 

"Yeah of course just thinking.... we have to talk when this is all over."

"Okay?....." He said before turning his attention back to Carlisle.

"Welcome," Carlisle said to the pack.  "Jasper has experience with the newborns, teach us how to defeat them."

"They wanna know how the newborns differ from us," Edward said reading their mind.

"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life."

"A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. But no human army can stand against them." Jasper explained. "Now the two most important things to remember are; first never let them get their arms around you, they'll crush you instantly. The second, never go for the obvious kill, they'll be expecting that and you will lose. Emmett!"

Emmett left Raeni's side to stand across from Jasper so the two could spar. Raeni couldn't help but smile knowing Emmett was going to be Jasper's first victim.

"Don't hold back." The cowboy warned.

"Not in my nature," Emmett responded before charging forward.

~~Skipping Fight Scene~~

Raeni was the last one to go up and she was doing pretty well until Edward punched her into a tree alarming her children. 

Ayanna quickly let go of Seth throwing a big ball of light at Edward knocking him about twenty feet away breaking every tree he hit in half until he came to a stop while Malik ran to his mother's side.

"Oh shit," Gabby said watching Edward finally land on his back groaning from the pain he was in.

Emmett knew Raeni was fine so instead of checking on her, he ran to Ayanna's side holding her while she broke down in his arms.

"So-rry." She kept repeating over and over while she cried on her father's chest.

"It's okay baby I know you didn't mean to we're not mad at you.... your mommy and uncle Edward are fine."

"Fine?" 

"Yeah, they're fine."

Emmett knew Raeni was fine she had already gotten up and brought Malik over, he couldn't say the same thing about Edward though. He was almost sure his brother had been impaled by a tree branch.

"I'm going to check on Edward." Raeni mouthed to Emmett careful not to disturb Ayanna.

Raeni noticed that all the wolves had left not wanting to get involved with whatever they had going on here and honestly she couldn't blame them. Nobody wanted to be on the other end of Ayanna's powers.

She had gotten a text from Sam letting her know the Elders had called for their return but that she should come visit soon and bring the twins.

"Are you okay?" Raeni asked once Jasper and Carlisle pulled the branch from out of his side.

"Yeah, I'm fine now. It's already healed... is she doing okay over there?"

"She's still crying but I'm sure you can hear that.... I think she just needs to see the both of us to know we're okay."

"Their powers are getting stronger and stronger every day," Carlisle observed looking at the twins. "Before you know it she'll be able to blast somebody out of Forks."

"Don't say stuff like that." Edward groaned. "I don't think my poor body could take that."

"I could train them if you'd like," Jasper said with a small smile. "I could help them control their emotions and eventually teach them how to fight and defend themselves."

"Thank you Jasper we'd love your help. I mean one minute they're calm and the next minute Emmett's in quicksand because Emmett wouldn't give Malik a cookie." 

"Ookie?" Malik repeated cause Raeni to groan.

"How about I take him inside to get a snack," Esme said taking Malik from Raeni's side.

"Not cookies."

"Not cookies," Esme repeated.

"I'm going to get Ayanna and Emmett," Alice said. "I'm sure Ayanna's hungry too."

"Thank you, Alice."

"It's no problem that's what god moms do."

Opp Edward didn't know what hit him. One minute he's fighting Raeni and the next his adoptive father and brother are pulling a branch out of him while Gabby's holding his head in her lap.

If you guys didn't notice Rose didn't come to the training because it was already decided she wouldn't be fighting so she went hunting instead.
