Chapter 37

My bad ya'll I said a day or two and it's been four... my days have been blending together 🤦🏽‍♀️😅. Anyways on with the story...

Raeni nervously ran her hands through her long curly hair before she began biting her thumbnail.

It was a week before her wedding and instead of assisting Alice, she stood at a private airport waiting for the Volturi's private jet to appear.

"Calm down," Emmett said picking Raeni up from her chair and placing her on his lap. "They'll love you, there's nothing to be worried about."

"I know I just.... writing letters to someone and seeing them in person are two different things... I just don't want to disappoint him."

"And you won't Caius is lucky to have a daughter like you."

"Thank you, baby." She said kissing his cheek something that ended up in a make-out session.

When the plane finally landed Raeni was quick to jump out of Emmett's lap, she wanted to make a good impression, and making out with Emmett wasn't the way to do it.

Besides if her father had caught them making out she probably would've died from embarrassment.

The elite guard left the plane first watching for any signs of danger and once the coast was cleared the three kings followed.

Aro, Marcus, and then Caius.

"You must be Emmett Cullen," Aro said going up to greet the man.

"Yes sir and this is my Fiance Raeni Lei."

Caius's eyes shot towards the man realizing his daughter was hiding behind him. He had just assumed she didn't come busy with wedding planning.

"Raeni?"

"Hi, dad." She said peeking over Emmett's shoulder.

The King slowly walked behind Emmett and pulled the girl into a tight hug.

"You look just like Samara." He said with a small smile. "Beautiful."

"I don't know what Samara looks like but now that I see Raeni all I can see is a female version of you," Marcus said examining the women in front of him. "She just has darker skin and a wider nose, something I can assume came from her mother."

"How about we go get lunch," Caius said before Aro could comment.

"But you can't eat human food without my flowers, I didn't bring any."

"I can't but you can."

Raeni smiled at her father before grabbing his hand.

"Let's go!"

The two quickly ran off together before anyone could stop them leaving Emmett with the rest of the guard and the two remaining Kings.

"I can take you all to the hotels you'll be staying at," Emmet said nervously turning back to the Kings.

"That would be wonderful." Aro agreed looking at Emmett's Jeep. "The rest of you can trail behind me and Marcus."

"He was amazing Emmett!" Raeni said once they got in bed. "He wants to meet Malik and Ayanna tomorrow."

"I'm glad you had a good time," Emmett said kissing her forehead. "Don't forget your Aunt Marie's suppose to be here in like three days, she said she had some last minute shopping to do... well that's what she told Alice."

"She's probably just buying stuff for the twins you saw all the stuff she sent last month," Raeni said dragging a hand down her face. "All that shit and for what?"

"For you to clean up."

"Akekeke you mean for us to clean up because if I step on another Lego I might just lose my mind."

"I know you're not complaining about stepping on Legos." Emmett laughed. "You're not the one Ayanna wanted to do makeup with, she almost poked my eyes out ten times when she was doing my eye shadow."

"You made a very pretty princess."

"You damn right I did!"

The couple laughed thinking back on the incident, Ayanna had insisted on making her daddy pretty and Emmett being wrapped around Ayanna's figure just couldn't say no.

"Hey.... do you know what Gabby's been up to?" Raeni suddenly asks. "After Edward changed her she's been super busy but she won't say what she's busy doing. I'm starting to worry a little bit."

"I don't know what she's doing but you shouldn't worry too much. I'm sure she's fine."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because Gabby tells you everything and if something was really wrong with her and she hasn't said anything to anyone Edward would've come and asked you what's wrong with her," Emmett explained. "For all, we know she could be picking you out the perfect wedding gift... maybe a black lace ling-"

"I don't understand how your dick is always hard."

"it's only hard when it's just me and you," Emmett said pulling her closer. "You're just so sexy."

"I'm glad you think so," Raeni said before pulling him into a heated kiss. 

"Mhm Mhmmm baby not tonight." He said pulling away from Raeni. 

"Why not tonight?"

"Because we have to be up early tomorrow. We're taking the twins to train before they meet your dad, and if you don't go to sleep now all tomorrow you'll have an attitude."

"I hate it when you're right."

"I know now go to bed," Emmett said kissing her nose and turning off their bedside light. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Everything is falling onto place you guy's I'm so excited. The book isn't ending yet but we're getting there I just have a few more things to cover and then I'll release the epilogue and the bonuses, but don't worry I've got some more chapters to publish before that happens.
