A guilty six year old looking Ayanna walked into her grandparent's throne room avoiding everyone's eyes.

"What are you doing here Ayanna?" Caius asked. "I'm happy to see you but your mother's worried sick."

"I ran away." She said her bottom lip trembling.

"We can see that Ayanna," Samara said hiding her smile. "We want to know why."

"They don't love me! I don't want to be there anymore." She said before dramatically sobbing, something she always did with Emmett and Caius because she knew they're softer with her.

"I'm sure that's not true Ayanna your parents and brother love you so much," Caius said pulling the small girl in his lap. "Now tell us what happened.

~~~Flashback~~~
Ayanna had a problem when it came to sweet foods and everyone knew it.
Usually, when her mother made sweets for the house Ayanna would put some in a plastic container and save some for a rainy day.
Today was definitely a rainy day, she was being homeschooled by Alice and she wasn't too great at math, one of the subjects for that day.
Today Ayanna had gone to class by herself because Malik had come down with a cold.
She didn't really care about that though whenever the two went to class together they were nothing but a distraction to one another.
Math had been rough and all she wanted to do was have her dad make a glass of chocolate milk and eat her cookies.
Was that too much task? Apparently so.
"Bye Aunt Alice!" she said waving at her aunt as she drove off.
"Bye Yanna!!"
Ayanna shut the door behind her before entering the dining room where she placed her backpack on the back of her chair, as soon as she was done with her milk and cookies she planned on coming back to do the homework Alice assigned.
When she entered the kitchen she froze a look of belief on her face, she was sure she had hidden those cookies.
"What are you doing with those! Are you eating my cookies?!"
"Mom said I can get a snack there's nothing I wanted and I knew you had cookies so why not."
Anna was so angry and if looks could kill Malik would be dead a hundred times over.
"Mommy come quick!!" Ayanna yelled at the top of her lungs, justice would be served.
"What's going on Ayanna?" Raeni asked running into the kitchen. "Why are you screaming!?
"Your monster's eating my cookies, Mommy! Those are my cookies and he's eating them!"
You don't have to scream Ayanna we can make more cookies. It's not the end of the world it's going to be okay."
"No no, it won't be!" She said tears streaming down her face. "I wish Daddy was here he'd never let this happen!"
Emmett, Jasper, Edward decided to go on a week long hunting trip and they weren't supposed to be back for another couple of days.
Raeni tried not to be affected by her daughter's words, she knew she wasn't Ayanna's favorite parent but she tried, she always did the best she could.
It didn't matter what she did or what she promised she's always come second to her husband.
"I need you to go to your room, Ayanna," Raeni said taking a deep breath. "It's not okay to yell in my house."
"But he ate my cookies!"
"And he will be in trouble for that but that doesn't give you the right to tell in my house."
Ayanna glared at her mother before yelling 'I hate you!' and storming up to her room.
Raeni quickly wiped a fallen tear before turning to her son.
"She didn't mean it."
"I don't care, but what I do care about is you eating her stuff. Why would you do that?"
"Because I was hungry."
"Well, you know your in trouble right."
"Yes ma'am."
"As long as you know." She said with a small smile. "Now let me go talk to your sister."
Raeni went up to her daughter's room opening the door not even bothering to knock only to find the room empty and the window raised.
~~~Flashback Over~~~

"So you ran all the way here from Washington because your brother ate your cookies?" Samara said not sure if she had heard the story correctly.

"Yes."

"What you did was extremely irresponsible Ayanna," Caius said his tone dark. "Your father canceled his trip to help look for you, everyone including the people on the Rez are looking for you."

Caius wasn't mad that she ran to the castle he was mad at the way she had treated his daughter his princess.

If Raeni had told him she hated him he didn't know what he'd do, but he did know his daughter was beating herself up and calling herself a terrible mother.

"I'm sorry grandpa grandma."

Ayanna hated the looks of disappointment being sent her way, her grandparents had never looked at her like this before and she hated it.

"I'm going to call Raeni and Emmett," Samara told Caius before turning to Ayanna. "When they get here I expect you to apologize to both your mother and your father."

"Bu-"

"Ayanna," Caius said cutting her off.

"Yes ma'am."

With that Samara left the Caius and Ayanna in the throne room she was sure he'd be able to handle her on his own.

"I don't like the way you treated your mother," Caius said after a few moments of silence. "I'm extremely disappointed in you."

"I'm sorry grandpa." She said on the verge of crying again.

"Don't tell me tell your mother."

"Okay, I will when she gets here!"
