Dara was successful in going through the portal. She stayed in the air for her not to be noticed by anyone. She was definite about where she wanted to go.
'Last time I checked on him, he was down and he was alone. I hope he's fine now.' She thought to herself.
She stayed on a tree branch to watch over the guy's house. She can freely see his room from where she's sitting. She dangled both her legs and swayed it up and down, left and right.
She furrowed her eyebrows while watching what the guy was doing.
"At this time of the day you're drinking again? You're killing yourself Jiyong." She spoke to herself.
She pursed her lips and blew air. She was targeting the can of liquid that he was drinking.
Jiyong, the guy she's watching has a confused look on his face still thinking of what happened. Why the can of beer fell from his grip causing it to spill.
Dara chuckled at the image of the confused Jiyong causing a breeze to blow in the surrounding area.
Jiyong was about to close the window of his room to avoid the cold breeze to come in when he felt a weird presence in his room. A gush of cold wind passed through his arm causing him to shiver.
When Dara noticed that Jiyong will be closing his window, she immediately turned herself into thin air and entered Jiyong's room.
"Don't be scared. It's just me." Dara said knowing she won't be heard by the guy beside her.
Still in her thin air form, she sat beside Jiyong on the bed and checked on what he's looking at.
"It's a phone right?" Dara asked herself. "You've seen that a lot of times. It's what they use to send message to other people, like what you do mentally with Bom, Minzy and Chaerin."
Jiyong was just staring at his phone. With one click on the device, an image of a woman appeared on the screen.
"Who is she?... Hey, I remember her. She's the woman who hurt you. You're previous partner who only cares about herself." She said sounding annoyed, not being heard by Jiyong.
Dara glanced at Jiyong only to see tears welling in his eyes.
"What's wrong Jiyong? You're crying again." She said while she tried wiping Jiyong's tears.
Jiyong closed his eyes.
"You're here again." Jiyong said, tears still flowing in his cheeks.
Dara was unsure if he was pertaining to her.
A little smile formed on Jiyong's lips.
"I can feel you... whoever or whatever you are. You just tried to wipe my tears again... You've done this before. It's the same feeling." He said, still with eyes closed.
"You can feel my presence? You noticed?" Dara said, her heart beating fast.
Jiyong stood up abruptly and shook his head. He wiped his tears with his sleeves and bended his head from left to right.
"You've really gone crazy Jiyong. Really? Talking to yourself and thinking that somebody might be with you now?" He chortled. "Go get some fresh air. The air in this room is making you a mad man." He told himself while grabbing his jacket and the key to his motorcycle.
Dara was left alone in the room dumbfounded.
She changed her form from being thin air to her usual fairy appearance.
"He noticed you Dara... He did.. Eeeek!!" She squealed.
She was busy with squealing when she suddenly looked around Jiyong's room and got disappointed with how so disorganized the room was. With the help of her powers, she quickly cleaned the room before following Jiyong.
Jiyong on the other hand didn't know where to go. He's kind of tipsy due to taking four cans of beer with an empty stomach.
Driving with no specific place to go, he didn't notice where he brought himself.
He stopped his motorcycle's engine and took his helmet off.
"Yah right! Of all places, you brought yourself here." He told himself.
It's his ex-girlfriend's house that's in front of him.
Dara who's been following him since he left the house wasn't able to do anything but to shake her head.
"You really are something Jiyong." She paced back and forth in front of Jiyong knowing that she can't be seen. "I really can't understand why humans seek for something that they know will hurt them in the end... Look at you now." She said, pointing her fingers at Jiyong. "You're here outside of that girl's house but what good will it bring you if you see her? Aisshhh!" She hissed.
Dara's leisure nagging was interrupted when Jiyong stood up and hesitantly stepped forward.
"Hey, where are you going?! I'm still talking to you." Dara told him.
The girl Dara saw on Jiyong's phone went out of the house and that's why Jiyong left his motorcycle.
Jiyong followed the girl without being noticed but before they got far from the girl's house, the girl looked back causing for Jiyong to be discovered.
The girl's eyes turned to slit upon seeing Jiyong.
"Are you staking me? Jiyong, I told you we're over, right?" She said hysterically.
"Please don't misunderstand Tiffany. I was just looking for a place to kill time and I didn't notice I was driving towards your house's direction. I saw you went out and I just wanted to make sure you safely ride the bus that's why I followed you." Jiyong explained.
"My safety is no longer your business Jiyong."
"You're being mean to Jiyong. He's being concerned and that's what you're gonna tell him?" Dara raised her eyebrow in irritation. She looked at Jiyong and said, "Don't worry Jiyong. Let me handle this." She swirled her fingers which brought air to cause Tiffany's skirt to be lifted, exposing her underwear to the people who's passing by.
Jiyong immediately took his jacket off and covered Tiffany's legs.
Tiffany reacted quickly to what Jiyong did, she slapped him on his face.
Another man saw what's happening and punched Jiyong causing him to sit on the ground with bleeding lips.
"You punk! What are you doing to her? Pervert! I'm gonna call the police." The man said angrily. He was about to give Jiyong another hit on the face, he was already holding Jiyong's collar when Tiffany stopped him.
"That's enough Nichkhun. I'm fine." Tiffany said.
"No! This guy's a pervert. We should report him to the police."
"I'm fine... and I'll be late for work too so let's just let this pass. Nothing happened to me. Just let him go."
"Are you sure?" Nichkhun asked.
"I'm sure."
Nichkhun forcefully released Jiyong's collar. "Be thankful she didn't want to call the police." He kicked Jiyong's jacket upon standing up then guided Tiffany to ride in his car.
Dara was so annoyed, her lips were twitched and her forehead creased. She knows it's not right to meddle with these humans but seeing Jiyong in that state and not fighting back, she wanted to take revenge for him.
With her wind power, she grabbed a flower pot and hit it on the car's windshield, in front of where Tiffany was seated.
"What the?!!!" Nichkhun exclaimed. "Where the he'll did that come from? Are you okay?" He asked Tiffany.
"Is somebody playing with us?" Tiffany looked around through the window but found nobody that looks suspicious. After looking around, she checked on her watch to find out she's almost late for work. "Can we just get going? I'm really late."
Nichkhun looked at the cracks on the windshield but didn't have any choice but to comply to Tiffany's request.
Dara was jumping and clapping and laughing, feeling successful with what she did.
