Chapter 10

"Good morning Sir." Dara said after entering the room. She bowed to him.

"Good morning lovely lady. Have a seat." Mr. Yang offered. "My name's Yang Hyunsuk... just in case Jiyong has not informed you about me."

Dara smiled. "Jiyong told me you're Mr. Yang before I came in."

"Are you really Jiyong's cousin?" Mr. Yang asked, looking at her as if looking for any resemblance between Jiyong and her.

"Yes Sir. I just don't look like him that much."

"Oh, I see."

"Jiyong told me that there's something you would like to discuss with me."

"Yes. It's something very important for Jiyong's career and for his self as well... If it's okay with you, I would like to discuss it together with the boys. I already called them before you came in."

"Ah... ow-key." Dara answered, unsure of what's gonna happen.

After a couple of minutes, four guys came in. Two of them Dara already knew.

Seungri smiled at her.

"These are Seungri, Daesung, Youngbae and TOP." Mr. Yang introduced them to her.

"I know Seungri and TOP. I met them outside while waiting for Jiyong."

"I see. For Daesung and Youngbae, this is Dara, Jiyong's cousin."

"I didn't know Jiyong has a cousin." Youngbae said.

"Nice to meet you, Noona, right?" Daesung, smiling with his eyes.

"I'm same age as Jiyong. You can call me Noona or just Dara." Dara smiled back.

"Why did you call us here Boss?" TOP asked.

"It's about Jiyong... You boys know how I'm worried about Jiyong locking up himself in his own world, right?"

The guys nodded.

"I would like to ask Dara's assistance to see how we can help Jiyong with his issue... We're not forcing you to do it Dara. It still depends on your decision."

"How can I be of help Sir?"

"You're the closest person to Jiyong and you might be able to talk to him about his personal matters."

"For a long time, we tried to help him but he always blocks us whenever we talk to him about personal matters. He only talks to us about things related to work." Youngbae said.

"The closeness that you have with him is different. Whenever he's angry or even just annoyed, he becomes very scary. You even said it yourself earlier. But when he heard you say he's like a dragon when he's angry, he didn't get mad. It's as if he ignored what you said." Seungri said.

"He still gets scary when I'm with him. I've seen him at his worst so I guess I'm just used to that... I'm willing to help with your plans for him."

"What's causing him to be like that?" TOP asked.

Dara looked at Mr. Yang.

"You can tell them. They're as concerned as you when it comes to him." Mr. Yang said.

"You probably are all aware he's been alone since he was 15. He built a wall around him because of that. He doesn't want to experience being left alone again so he decided to live by himself and not stay close with anyone... until Tiffany came. But, just like his parents, Tiffany left him, too."

"Do you think getting an explanation from his parents would be of help for him to have closure?" Mr. Yang asked.

"Maybe. That might help him. I'm just not sure how he'll take it... Will you have the ability to search for his parents?" Dara asked back.

"I may be able to do that."

"That's the power of our Boss." Seungri commented.

"Thank you Sir for helping Jiyong. And thank you guys for understanding him... Another thing I'm helping him out with is for him to have Tiffany back... I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to do that."

"We can help with that... We're good at serenading." Daesung suggested.

'Are you guys willing to help Jiyong up to this extent?" Mr. Yang asked.

"Anything for Jiyong. We haven't showed our gratitude for all the things he's done for us. He's one of the reasons why were standing as the best male group in the music industry." Taeyang said.

"I'm in." TOP followed.

"Me, too." Seungri and Daesung said consecutively.

"Thanks guys... Thank you Sir. I came here to be able to help Jiyong and I think I'll succeed with my purpose because you're all there to help."

"Where can we contact you if we need to discuss something with you?" Mr. Yang asked Dara.

Dara thought for a second. She doesn't have that thing they call phone, she thought to herself.

"Err... Sorry Sir but I won't be able to get in touch with you not unless I go here."

"Why?" TOP asked. "It's not that you don't have a phone." TOP showed his phone to her and Dara grinned. "Is it?"

"Honestly, I really don't have one." Dara shyly replied.

"Really Noona? How do you get in touch with Jiyong Hyung without a phone?" Seungri asked curiously.

"I have my ways." She answered.

"I'll ask Jiyong to buy you one. It will be suspicious if I ask my assistance to buy one for you." Mr. Yang said.

Dara nodded.

"If there's anything that you need, don't hesitate to ask me or tell these four guys... They may look like party goers but they're really serious with helping out." Mr. Yang chuckled.

"Yah, Boss, I'm serious with everything. Youngbae hyung is the party animal among us." Seungri protested.

"Look who's talking." Youngbae reacted.

"Stop blabbering Seungri. You're giving Dara Noona wrong impression of us." Daesung said.

"You guys look like fun to be with. I guess that's why Jiyong kept working with you despite the fact that he prefers to work alone... when you said that you don't know if he considers you guys as his friend, I think the answer's YES." She was looking at TOP. "He treats you as friends... He's not just vocal about it."

"Maybe you're right." TOP agreed.

"Sir, if you don't mind me asking, why are you doing this for Jiyong?" Dara asked.

"Jiyong's a very talented kid and I want people to recognize him as that... not the guy with a black aura as how everyone sees him to be. He's like my own child. These five boys are my treasure so I help them the best I can." Mr. Yang told her.

"They're lucky to have you as their Boss."

"We are... We love our Boss so much... and he loves us, too. So much that I know he's willing to give us an all expense paid vacation." Seungri joked.

Mr. Yang picked a stressball from the table and threw it at Seungri.

"That's what you deserve." TOP commented.

Everyone laughed at how silly Seungri looked as he massaged his forehead where the stressball landed.
