A month had passed since then. We were done with our exams and finally had a vacation. It felt like forever since I visited Henry. But now that we were almost done with university, it was easier to socialize with people.

Christmas was approaching. The perfect season. There was something about this season that brought automatic joy to my face.

I was also working on my book for a long time but suddenly, I was stuck. I didn't know what to write further, it was as if someone sucked out every ounce of inspiration from me.

The boy had to ask her out. It was pretty obvious she liked him too but he wanted to make it special. So what do I do to make it special for them?
Argh, I'm running out of ideas.

I dropped down my pen and leaned back on my chair lazily. I couldn't write at the moment, I'd probably end up ruining the entire story. So I got up.

I walked over to the mirror and tied my hair up in a ponytail. I wore my shoes and stepped out of the house after waving dad a goodbye.

And obviously, I ended up standing in front of the giant door of Henry and John's shared home. I rang the bell and within seconds I found John welcoming me with a wide grin.

"Daisy, I deadass thought you're dead." He said, as he walked back into the living room and slopped down on the couch. I followed him and sat down next to him, staring at the TV screen displaying a baseball match.

Sports is definitely not my thing. It asked for a lot of energy which I mostly lacked so yeah, maybe videogames were better for me.

"And why would you think so?" I asked, getting comfortable on the couch.
"You didn't come to meet me at all, I'm hurt, okay?" He said in a dramatic tone and pouted.

"This dramatic ass of yours will land you in trouble some day." I shook my head in disbelief as I looked around for a certain boy.

"Looking for your guy? He's not here." He said, reading my expressions.
"Where did he go?" I asked almost immediately. Later realizing how desperate I sounded.

He shook his head as he laughed.
"Oh right, He's gone to meet Rian. He'll come back on Christmas. He asked me to tell it to you but I forgot, sorry." He said awkwardly and my eyes widened as he said so.
"Why does he not tell me every time he goes to meet up with him! Gosh I hate him." I said, frustratingly.

Was he still pressed about that one time when I said I wanted to meet Rian too? Memories from that day flashed in my head. He was just cooking but then suddenly he was blurting out life threatening stuff. That was kinda hot, not gonna lie.

"Daisy, are you listening?" I looked to my right to find him looking at me.
"No sorry, what did you say?" I said, smiling awkwardly.

"I have a date with Rose so you'll have to find someone else for today." He said with an apologetic look.

"Of course, now you're ditching me too? Go go! Have a great date." I said sarcastically, but a smile managed to make way to my lips.

Come to think of this, Henry and I had never really had a proper date. At what stage of relationship were we even at? A lot of stuff happened before we could even start dating properly. This is so annoying.

He laughed and nodded with a smile. I waved him and left his place. Now where do I go? I'm definitely not going back home, it's boring. Rose won't be available too. Emily? Yes.

I asked Emily to meet me at the Nora's Café, where we hung out most of the times.
