Luke and Ocean are two friends who enjoy each others company and were luckily paired together for the project they had for their major, psychology.
The project they chose to do was on how the brain developes during human growth. Luke and Ocean had agreed on her coming over to his house to get it done and so, here they are:
"Hey, Luke! I got us a poster board so we can complete it!" Ocean placed the board on the table while sitting down next to him at the table they had set up to work with.
He blushed as their hands gently brushed against each others when they went to grab a pen from the supplies box~
"So...um, Ocean?" "Yea?" "Shall I do the research?" "We're supposed to do that together, dummy!" "Oh..right."
They got out their laptops opening them up to Google and beginning to research information.
~~~\\\\3 1/2 Hours Later////~~~
They had been stretching their upper body after working for almost about 4 hours straight on the project due in one week. "Dang...it's pretty late... I should go home, Luke." "W-wait! Considering it's already late...would you like to eat dinner here? ...I could ask my paren-" "No! Really, I don't want them to go through the trouble of feeding an unexpected guest.." "no, it's ok! They ALWAYS cook extra and way too much all the time so I'm sure they won't mind..."
"Are you sure?" "Yeah..." "alright then! Thanks!"
They traveled down to the kitchen where his parents were cooking sPaGhEttI aNd MeAtBaLlS!!!!
She shyly followed Luke who was currently standing behind his mom.
"Hello, Mother!" "*looks at Luke, turns away from Luke, looks at Ocean* Oh, hey, honey! You must be Luke's partner for the project! I'm Nicole. Nice to meet you-ah! Actually, how do you feel about eating dinner with us!?" Ocean smiled looking at Luke then shyly and boldy{how🥴?}nodding in response.
Nicole happily took the newly baked garlic bread out of the oven starting to prepare the table. Ocean and Luke sat down across from each other when the food was displayed on the table.

"Thanks for the food!" "mY pLeAsUrE!" "Luke, how about you walk her home?" "...sUURRRREEEEEEEEE" Luke grabbed her hand heading out the doorway.
*Arrives at House*
"I-I uh...Ocean...I have something I want to tell you..." "hm?" "I kind of like you... a bit more than a friend would and I was hoping that you would feel the same about me-" "fwahahahahahahahah! AHahaHahaHahahaAha! Kukukuku! Hahahahaha! *snort*
*repeatedly slaps back* You're so funny, bud! That's why you my homie! Like, bro- I know were bestfriends, but one day you're actually going to kill with your jokes, fam!!!"
He went silent as she waved bye to him and entered her house leaving an extremely phased Luke outside.
