It was Saturday morning, Demcember 4th. The day of Crystal's birthday. She had invited Laura and Ocean to a sleepover the night before and so they accepted. Little did they know that Laura had done a little exploring around the house when they were asleep...
Crystal woke up to her mom shaking her gently while Laura and Ocean threw confetti. Ocean threw it to her right as Laura aimed for Crystal herself. Crystal coughed desperately trying to breathe...
Laura nervously looked away pretending not to notice. Ocean came to help her while Crystal's mom also patted her back. Soon, Crystal was able to regain her composure and stared at Laura. "..🙄...😉HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CRYSTAL" Crystal shook her head before thanking her and Ocean and Crystal's mom started singing happy birthday. She giggled, thanking them too.
They helped her get out of the bed and she went to change as they got presents. After she was done, Trey, John, Marcus, Laura, Ocean, Crystal's mom, Crystal's dad, and Crystal's grandparents stood at the door trying to shove past each other with gifts in their hands. Laura busted through them running towards Crystal. She had a rounded shape thingy in her hands and handed it to her with stars in her eyes. "OpenItOpenIt!!!" She bounced around as Crystal thanked her curiously ripping the wrapping paper off
She gasped feeling dripping wet wrapping tissue around a glass bowl. She pulled the tissue off and stared in horror at the dead fish sitting in the empty fish bowl with some fake plants and decorations burying it. Laura froze as she looked at it. "...Soooo...do you like it-" "YOU GOT ME A DEAD FISH FOR MY BIRTHDAY" "AYE, LISTEN-IT WAS ALIVE WHEN I BOUGHT IT; I TRULY DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED-" "YOU WRAPPED A FISH IN PAPER AND TISSUE!!! HOW-WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT-" "BE GRATEFUL"
"...😶...THANK YOU" "🙂Besides, now everyone has a free meal-all you have to do is season it and then deep fry it or maybe throw it in the oven so-" "LAURA" Ocean facepalmed pushing Laura out of the way while handing Crystal a box.
Crystal smiled, thanking her and untying the ribbon. She gasped staring at the tray of cookies. She hugged Ocean. "They're homemade~" They laughed and Crystal's grandpa went next. He smiled as Crystal smiled back taking the gift. She unwrapped it gently to reveal a beautiful wooden beaded bracelet. She put it on, hugging him. Laura curiously snatched it off of her wrist trying to examine it closely. Ocean clicked her teeth standing up and fighting with Laura.
"Give it back to her" "No! I wanna see it" "You already have! Now give it to her" "I'M NOT DONE YET" They pulled harder causing the bracelet to rip and all the beads rolled off. Crystal sadly watched as one hit her big toe before breaking down into tears. Ocean gasped, apologizing and quickly trying to pick them up. Laura simply said sorry before sitting back down...
They went downstairs to eat breakfast after everyone gave the gifts. Since the tree was up early, it may of had fallen on Crystal but...we're not gonna talk about that...

It was now time for the party and Crystal put her dress on from her mom. She smiled, spinning in the mirror. She walked outside where her other friends were. Ocean looked around. "Where's Laura?" Trey opened his mouth to say something before Laura came running in with a red haired girl. Everyone gasped. Crystal backed up in pure horror. "ERICA" "CRYSTAL, AREN'T YOU HAPPY THAT I BROUGHT YOUR LAST FRIEND-" "WHY THE-OH MY GOSH! WHY WOULD YOU BRING MY BULLY FROM MIDDLESCHOOL-"
Erica smiled innocently before standing next to Crystal and giving her a little box. Crystal cried opening the box to see a necklace that looked like it was missing a part of it. Erica pulled out a similar one. "Because me and you are the best of friends" Crystal's eyes widened and she began to cry even more.
Marcus glared at Erica. "I AM CRYSTAL'S BEST FRIEND!!! DON'T YOU ACT NOW, SLUG🤬GO HOME-AIN'T NOBODY WANT YOU HERE" Erica ignored them and they started singing happy birthday to Crystal who was still sniffling before cutting the cake.
Later on, Laura brought out some 'cotton candy'. Everyone 'aw'ed' grabbing a stick. Crystal squinted and her eyes suddenly widened in realization. 'That is not no cotton candy! That is-ACTUALLY, I WON'T TELL THEM-IMA LET THEM EAT IT SINCE THEY WANTED TO RUIN MY BIRTHDAY SO BADLY' Crystal watched them take a bite before they spit it out instantly, some coughing it up.
"What is this?!" "Cotton candy" Laura answered as Crystal looked away. "NO IT'S NOT!" "YES IT IS-IT'S JUST THE SPECIAL KIND-I SAW IT LAST NIGHT WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR THE BATHROOM. I PASSED BY THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND SPOTTED SOME WASTED COTTON CANDY IN THE TRASH" "THE TRASH?!" "...😳...DRYER LINT"
