“Makinig ka ng maayos, titinidurin ko iyang mata mo.” Ani ni Leighra sa akin, napakamot nalang ako sa batok ko.

Nandito kami ngayon sa guidance at talgang binakante niya ang oras niya maghapon at humingi ng modules sa bawat subject at gagawin na lamang niya kasabay ko.

“Function units consist of subjects, objects, linking-verb complements, noun modifiers, and verb modifiers. All of these function units have meanings which can be described more or less accurately.” Tumango tango naman ako tanda na nakikinig talaga ako, ang kaso ay walang pumapasok sa utak ko.

“The subject has a complicated set of meanings. It often means doer of the action, it may also mean ‘that which is described’ or ‘that which is identified’. At other times, the subject may mean either the receiver or undergoer of the action.”

“The object names whatever undergoes the action; the indirect object means whatever receives the action, or the person for whom the action is done; the linking-verb complements identifies the subject.” Sabi nito at tinaasan ako ng kilay, tumango ulit ako na kunwari ay naintindihan ko.

“A phrase is a group of related words which does not contain a subject and a predicate. A clause is a group of related words which contains a subject and a predicate. Both phrase and clause are classified in two ways: according to form and according to use.”

Napabuntong hininga ako habang pilit inuunawa ang lesson kasabay ng paggawa ng activity na binigay niya sa akin.

“Once you understand it, maeenjoy mo na siya.” She said without looking at me.

Nakakainis naman kasi talaga, e’ ‘di sana nasa roof top na naman ako ngayon at naninigarilyo hasit. Nakakainis talaga eh.
