Narrators POV:
She's been staying at over Beatrice's place for a month now.
The mysterious messages went back to being almost non-existent. All she received so far were lovesick texts every third day.
They talked about her at times as if she was a goddess, then at other times as if she was their possession. So it was quite unsettling.
She did go back to the officers, but yet again they didn't find these texts to be enough evidence.
Officer Hobbs has clearly seen that they have put her on a pedestal.
He just hoped there'll be no sacrifices to “please” her.She noted how they get upset if she doesn't even read their messages.
The continuous buzzing greatly annoyed the (h/c) but not as much as the ringing did.
Yet again the choir was cut off as regret roulette started blaring from her speakers. Her phone screen displayed yet again a call from the unknown number. She never picked it up and seems like they have noticed it.

𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚝 𝚟𝚘𝚒𝚌𝚎.A scowl formed on (Y/N) face as she read the message.
There's no way in hell she'll talk to that creep. She turned away from the device ready to ignore it as yet again a bzz sound broke the silence of her room.

(E/c) orbs slightly widened to the threat. Her brows knitted together as she started to wonder about what they have meant.

The image loaded in displaying Beatrice in her cubicle.
The ravenette seemed lost in her work, unaware of the person capturing her through the window. As the song started to ring out through the empty space again the (h/c) reached for the vibrating device with a shaking hand and quickened heart beat.
Her fingertip merely touched the green circle before an overly excited voice boomed through the speaker startling the poor female.
“Babe! You finally picked up, I'm so glad.”
The loud male voice made her shrink back into her seat.“Please, say something. I want to hear you~” a pleading tone filled his voice.
The girl tried to quiet her slight hyperventilation as tears started to fill her frightened (e/c) orbs.
Loud noises were really an enemy of the poor, sensitive maiden.“Baaabyyy~” he dragged out “stop being such a bad girl. Disobedience doesn't fit you”.
“Why?” The question broke out of her so hushed he would have missed it had he not pressed his cellphone against his ear.
“Ahh~, there's the voice I love so much” he confessed feeling elated to hear his canary again.
The (h/c) reeled back in shock as a blush spread across her cheeks.
That moan caught her off guard so much she almost dropped her device.
