Chapter 40: Just Married

Wearing a beige Boho dress that flaunts her collarbones so well. Camilla smiled in front of the mirror when Sabrina puts her flower crown in which she preferred than veil.

"Masyadong biglaan ang kasal, Camilla." Naiinis na sambit ni Sabrina, "I didn't even have the time to prepare my matron of honor dress!"

Niyakap niya ito, "Maganda ka pa rin naman. Isa pa, buntis ka!" Look at how her friend enjoyed pregnancy. Wala pang isang buwan ang anak nito ay buntis na naman. "I just want you comfortable during my wedding day."

"May hindi ka ba sinasabi sa akin? Bakit ba kasi kayo nagmamadali ni Wesley. As if naman hindi pa kayo kasal."

She chuckled, "Wesley's been waiting for this for so long, Sab. Ilang taon ako nawala, then I was in coma. Then I gave birth, then we waited for Claude to get bigger. Tapos... Buntis na naman ako."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Sabrina at bumakas ang saya nito sa balita niya, "Oh my goodness! Really?" Niyakap siya nito, "I hate you but I'm happy! Gosh, bakit hinintay mo pa akong sermunan ka!"

"I missed you, Sab." Aniya.

Napalingon sila nang kumatok na si Florence sa pinto, "Everything is settled. Bride na lang ang kulang,"

"Pakisabi kay Wesley, hindi ko siya iindianin." Florence chuckled and leave.

Lalabas na sana si Sabrina nang hawakan niya ito't pigilan, "Why?"

"Hindi pa kita napapasalamatan," Mapagmahal niyang sambit, "Sa lahat ng ginawa mo at ginagawa mo para sa akin."

Hindi ito nakapag salita. Tila nagulat din sa kanya. She's not really the type of person who would say this kind of things.

"You and Fred are the reason why I believe I had to lose my memories. Dahil kung hindi iyon nangyari, hindi ko alam paano tayo magkakakilala. So, I am grateful... Thank you, Sab."

Nangilid ang luha nito, "Nakakainis ka." Sabay punas sa luha, "Why would you caught me off guard like that!"

Niyakap siya nito at nagpasalamat rin, "Aside from my husband, I don't have a family, Camilla. That's why when you came, I am the happiest. You restored broken bridges, Camilla. So, thank you for coming into our lives."

"Broken Bridges?" She asked.

Napahinga ito nang malalim, "Well, I don't think I should say this before but... Fred is my ex." Nanlaki ang mga mata niya, "Yes, I know I should have told you!"

"Sab!" She didn't know what to react, "Kaya pala aloof si Fred sa'yo when we got close!"

Tumango ito, "We're friends, Camilla. It started there and it developed. But, he chose Sydney. This is my home. Ayoko rin ng LDR." She never Thought Sabrina has this kind of story. Kahit si Fred!

"We broke up and then I met Florence." Napangiti ito, "We got married. He came back but we can never be like how we used to."

"He got mad?"

Umiling ito, "Maybe hurt. But, a decision was made. Years passed, I was hoping I could save the friendship. Then I met you. I am so glad, Camilla."

"Hindi kaya nagpropose lang sa akin si Fred dahil sa'yo?"

She shrugged her shoulder, "I don't know, Camilla but he isn't like that. Fred knew what he wants. Hindi siya pumapasok sa isang bagay na hindi siya sigurado. Also, he is a firm believer that if it's for you, it's for you. So, he really don't do things just because he's pressured."

Hindi iyon ang sagot ni Fred sa kanya. Nevertheless, at least they are all okay.

"But, he is in love." Sambit niya, "You know with whom?"

"Yes," Sangayon nito agad, "It's complicated but don't worry about him. He'll figure it out. But, we're already good. Florence also talked with him."

Napangiti siya, "Thank you for letting me know, Sab..." She sighed, "Now, will you walk me down the aisle?"

Halatang nagulat sa tinanong niya ito. Kaya naman hindi pa nakakasagot ay bigla naman kumatok ulit si ---

"Hi," Napalingon sila at nakita si Elias! "I don't want to spoil the moment but Wesley is freaking out."

"Elias!" Niyakap niya ito kaagad, "You came."

Ngumiti ito't unang bumitaw ng yakao at sandaling napatitig sa kanya, "You look beautiful, Camilla." Hinampas niya ito sa dibdib.

"Bakit ngayon ka lang nagpakita sa akin?" She cried, "I didn't even hear you kahit nasa ospital ako."

"He was there, Camilla." Sambit ni Sabrina, "He visits..." She calmed down upon hearing that.

"Is that true? Then bakit hindi ka nga nagpakita nang magising ako?"

Huminga nang malalim si Elias, "I'm sorry. But, what's important now is that I am here," Ngumiti ito sa kanya ulit.

May bago na sa mga mata nito, hindi na katulad nang huli nilang pagkikita, "You're magnificent, Camilla."

Nilahad nito ang braso para hawakan niya, "Let's go?" Inabot niya iyon pagkuwa'y tumingin kay Sabrina, "Tara?"

Tumango naman ang huli. Nang makarating sila sa roof deck, nagsitayuan na rin ang mga bisita.

She chose this place because this is the exact same place where they met again.

Amazing how fate really works. She just wanted to party that night. To be free even just for a minute. To be happy.

Who would have thought that God would use that broken road and He lead her straight to him.

"Elias, can you walk me in the aisle, too?" Tanong niya rito.

He was taken aback by her question, pero sa huli ay tumango lang ito sa kanya. Sabrina wrapped her hand on her right arm, while she wrapped her left on Elias.

Wala na yata pang mas sasaya pa kay Camilla ngayon. These two people who has a huge part in her past and present, is walking her on the aisle.

Her in-laws, Winona and Cameron, Manang Vida, Lauren, Rita, Florence, and Fred. They are all here.

Kinawayan pa siya ni Fred. Katulad ni Elias may ngiti rin ito sa labi na alam niyang isa lamang ang maaring maging dahilan.

Nararanasan na niya iyon ngayon. Masaya siyang nararanasan din iyon ng iba.

Sa dulo ay naghihintay si Wesley, katabi si Vincent. Hindi nakangiti pero halatado sa mga mata ang kasiyahan. His eyes are moist, patunay na malapit na ring bumaba ang mga luha na maging siya'y kanina pa pinipigilan.

"Hi," Bati niya sa asawa, "Are you okay?"

He let out a chuckle and held her hand, nagpasalamat sa dalawang taong nakasama niya sa paglalakad patungo sa panibagong yugto na naman ng buhay niya.

Isasarado ang nakaraan, bubuksan ang bagong kinabukasan.

"Game ka na ba?" Tanong niya rito, "Hindi ka ba napipilitan?"

He smirked, "This is the easiest question I would get to be asked, Camilla. I'm sure."

"I love you." She lovingly said.

Mapagmahal din siyang tinignan ng asawa, he caressed her face, "You're stuck with me."

Natawa siya, "Paano kung makalimot ako ulit?" She asked him, "Kagaya ng huli?"

"Then I'll just make you remember, again." Sagot nito, "Kagaya ngayon."

"Thank you, Wesley for not giving up on me... on us..."

"Never, Baby." Because this time, he already surrendered it to the One who can make it last forever.
