"There's someone here who said they'd put up a curtain. And then up and left the auxiliary manager behind. Fess up." I can still feel his deadpanned expression from the little corner I sat on.

Me, Shoko, and Geto looked away, with fingers pointing at Gojo. He raises up his hand and says, "Sensei! We're better than pointing fingers!"

"Tsk. I still remembered what you said about the curtain when we left AND dragged me along," I growled at him.

"So it's you!" Masamichi said, still with the same face. "And, (Y/N), you didn't do anything wrong."

"Yay, I'm forgiven," I crossed my legs and read a pocketbook.

So I watch Gojo get beaten by Masamichi in the corner of my eye.

---

"Are curtains even necessary in the first place?" Gojo askes the three of us.

"It is, even if we're the ones who told you to put on a curtain," I said, gluing my eyes on the book. Man, this guy's really hard to deal with.

"No, does it even matter if regular people see us? It's not like can see it anyway," Gojo adds.

"Of course it matters," Geto and I said in unison. "Geto, we must be sharing the same brain cell," I said to him.

"I think not," Shoko says while sliding Gojo's glasses on her face.

"The prevention of cursed spirits is most important for the citizens' peace of mind," Geto said. "Yeah, we do think alike," I said, closing the book.

Geto continued rambling about the importance of the goddamn curtain. "Yeah, yeah, gotcha," Gojo interrupts him.

It just continues.

After some time, I watch Shoko run to the door.

"Let's take this outside, Satoru," Geto stands up. "You lonely? Go by yourself!" Gojo spat.

I slammed my book on the table. "If you're talking about the citizens' peace of mind, how 'bout my peace of mind, you fucking little-"

The door slid open and Masamichi came in. The room went silent as he did.

"Where's Shoko?" he asked.

"Who knows?" Geto said.

"Maybe the bathroom," Gojo replied.

"She ran off because these two were about to-" the two of them shut my mouth and made a pleading smile.

"Were about to what?"

"Nothing."

"Anyways," Masmichi stands in front of us. "Doesn't matter. For this mission, I'm going to have you three go together."

The most immature children beside me made disgusted faces.

"What's with the faces?" Masamichi asked. "Nothing," the two replied.

"To be honest, it's quite the responsibility but, it's coming from Master Tengen," Masamichi explains, capturing our attention.

"Two objectives. Master Tengen, the Star Plasma Vessel, has a perfect match. Escort the girl and erase her," he finishes.

"What," I said confusingly.

"Escort the girl and erase her?" Gojo says. "Correct."

"He's definitely lost it," Geto whispers. "No, he's gone mad," I whispered back. "It is spring after all, and with him being the next principal and all, he's getting carried away," Gojo whispers to us too.

"I'll decide what's a joke or not," Masamichi says blankly.

"All jokes aside, are we resetting Master Tengen's cursed technique?" Geto asks. "What's that?"

We face Gojo that makes up a sentence, "You should already know this." Masamichi explains anyway.

"Evolution. Master Tengen will no longer be human and will ascend to a higher state."

Too bad I already know this so I pretended like I was listening. I sneak my book under my desk and continued reading.

---

I got me and Gojo some soda then gave one to him.

"But, for real," Gojo opens the can and chugs it, "If the curse-user group Q is after her, why does the star religious group want to kill her?"

I sighed and explained, "According to them, they worship the pure Master Tengen. A star plasma vessel would soil that impurity.

"Apparently, the star religious group are a pack of non-curse users. We shouldn't worry too much. We just have to be wary of Group Q." I looked at my empty soda can and tossed it somewhere.

"Anyway, it should be okay, we're the strongest. That's what Master Tengen asked us after-" Gojo looks at us, who were giving him weird looks. "What?"

"Gojo-kun, watch what you're saying..." I said.

"Yeah, even when around your elders. You're way too rude," Geto adds in. "Wha-" he crushes the soda can into a pebble.

"Oh, why not go to that star plasma vessel now? Must be easier for us to get that vessel," I suggested.

"Sure, why not?" that two responded.
