"Haa...you said you'll ask help when things go out of hand..." I shook my head in disbelief while carrying Minato's limp body by my shoulder.
"Sorry, had other matters to handle," Fushiguro apologized while holding down Kirara.
"I understand. Plus didn't I tell you to not negotiate? You're scaring the third-years away." I pointed at Kirara, whose face was between 'I don't believe you' and 'That's a bluff, ain't it?'
"I'm quite surprised you're near the point where you'll have to force the third-years to listen to you, no?" I nodded at Fushiguro who held Kirara firmly on the ground.
Fushiguro turned back at Kirara and uttered, "Listen to what we have to say."
I shook my head and thought, Ah, he's begging now, right?
"Did you really plan this out?" Kirara asked numbly while her chin was pressed on the floor. "Surely, you didn't know if you would be pulled to the puppy or vice-versa."
"I understand now, but I had to leave it to chance back then," Fushiguro explained. "The one with 'higher cursed energy output' attracts the other one, right?"
Kirara only grumbles in reply.
"I can't believe you're a first-year. You're not so cute-" Before Kirara finished, Fushiguro stood up and kneeled down.
"Please, we're pressed for time. Listen to what we have to say," he said.
Ah, ha. He really is begging, huh.
Kirara glanced at him and sweatdropped, "...Alright."
A second later, I noticed Itadori flew from the door and fell down. "Kirara-san. Can you convince him for us? Seems like negotiating will be part of the plan, I think."
She nodded at me and the four of us leaned forward to see what's happening.
"Itadori?" Fushiguro gasped.
Hakari slowly stepped outside the room with a scowl on his face.
"Fushiguro! Panda-senpai! Ichimiya-san! You guys stay out of this!" Itadori yelled from below.
"Wow. I like this kid," I rested my chin on my palm.
"You're underestimating me," Hakari raised his fist and hit Itadori's nose. Instead of rolling over, he stood up immediately as if that hit felt nothing to him.
Ugh, disgusting, I thought. I watched him blow the blood out of his nose like a madman.
"Interesting. I'll listen to what you have to say, for as long as you remain standing!" Hakari stretched his arm with a weird aura around him.
"Kin-chan!" Kirara shouted beside me. "These kids want your help! Listen to what they have to say!"
"He just said that," I said.
The three of them flinched. "Then it's fine, I guess," Panda concluded.
"Oi, Itadori! Why me? This is the first time we met, is it not? Why did you come to me for help?" Hakari smiled, arms raised.
"Because my upperclassmen said you're strong," he answered boldly.
Hakari whacked his cheek again, nearly making Itadori lose balance.
"When one sorcerer asks another for help, it's basically 'Please risk your life with me!'" Hakari bellowed in rage. He continues on till he starts ranting about Yaga-sensei.
"I don't have a fever. I'm a cog," Itadori answered with a blank expression.
Ah, there you go, I thought with a nervous smirk written on my face.
"A cog for sorcerers to continue exorcising curses," he continued.
"Hey, hey, hey, you serious? That's so boring!" Hakari punched Itadori's face. This time, making him roll over.
An air of tension wrapped the trio beside me.
"Stings, doesn't it? According to Gojo-san, my cursed energy is rougher than others," he glanced at the first-year.
"Did he die? Hey Panda!...And sea-urchin head! Hurry up retrieve his body and get lost. Never-" he stopped when Itadori appeared behind him.
"Now that's what you call fast recovery," I chuckled, still impressed.
Hakari instantly jumped away, leaving a small gap between the two. "What are you made of?"
After rambling about why he's an actual cog himself, his voice darkened a little. "Senpai, what is your role?"
"Fine. I'll hit you as many times as it-"
"Kin-chan, aren't you getting heated?" Kirara winked. Panda and Fushiguro can also feel that that sounded weird when she said it so casually.
"Ugh...come on down. We can make a deal," he grumbled. "Oh?" Panda and I said simultaneously.
"Eh?... So problem solved?" Fushiguro whispered.
"Uh-huh," she replied.
"Thank you?"
"No problem. I don't like the higher-ups, but at the end of the day, Kin-chan's fever was at its peak," Kirara mentioned.
"We're on the same side, no? Guess we'll get along just fine," I turned around and faced the sky above me.
"Yep. I guess we'll do," Kirara replied.
