I lowered the small flower down on the ashes and closed my eyes.

Nanami, hope you're resting well. We'll get that asshole soon, I thought.

I sighed and unplugged a small bottle. I scooped his ashes into the container and closed it. "The curse," I breathed out.

I covered my right eye in pain and rubbed it gently.

"For now, this is goodbye," I uttered at his ashy remains. "You were a good kouhai. Better rest."

I blinked to resist the urge to cry, then I disappeared in a second.

Cold bleach showered down my head. The red dye fading away as my natural hair color appeared on my head. I cut out my hair and trimmed my bangs. I felt oddly refreshed.

I looked at myself through my phone. Jet-black hair with red tips swayed every time I moved. I touched my big scar, feeling rough and itchy to the touch.

A sad smile grew on my face and laughed it off.

"Ichimiya-san!" I hear Itadori call out behind the door. "We're leaving soon!"

"I'll see you there!" I yelled.

I wore a black turtle neck under my white t-shirt. Grey jeans and boots. I wrapped my Black Scarf around my neck and left the room.

"Waah! Ichimiya-san's hair!" Itadori smiled.

I rolled my eyes." Fushiguro. We need to talk. Go back inside."

His eyebrows rose, but followed me back into the room I came out of. "Ichimiya-san?" he asked in bewilderment.

"Here, I need you to hold this for me," I held out two small bottles with ashes in them.

"What are these?" Fushiguro asked, slowly taking them.

"Ashes. Nanami and Yaga's ashes. Got them after I woke up," I responded. I watch him shake in shock.

"Good. Next, your clan's gone. The other clans don't see the Zen'in clan as one of them anymore. So don't expect to be so high and mighty to be the leader of the Zen'in clan," I said.

"Why are you telling this now?" He asked me while punching the wall with his fist.

"I was planning to tell you sooner, but things happened when I was out. But the clan's gone because Maki-san destroyed it with her own hands. Can you blame her?" I shrugged.

I coughed and continued. "Therefore, the other clans are considering the Ichimiya-Inoue clan as a replacement for the Zen'in clan. The higher-ups refused, brought out a high bounty for my head."

I stood up and whispered beside him. "As a friend, I secured all the cursed weapons and had them transported somewhere safe."

I showed him a special-grade dagger and tucked it in my pocket.

"I'll help you revive the Zen'in clan. Only after this shit ends," I took the knob and went outside.

"Wait," he spoke.

"Yeah?"

"What happened to Maki-san?" he asked.

I stepped outside and said, "She's doing fine, no need to worry."

Fushiguro.

Huh? I hear him gasp in my head.

Sorry. But before that, where are you? I can't track Itadori. I can tell he's near my area.

Oh, I'm not sure where I am right now. But there's this girl named Remi-san, he said in my head.

I shivered and rubbed my arms. Be alert when you're around her. She's kind of scary despite her age. Oh! I found Itadori. Also Hiruguma. I'll be with him soon.

What? He found him already?

I sat on the building's edge. Yup. Itadori is fighting him now, I think. Trust me, he started it. I smiled, looked at the ground below.

I thought Hiruguma is at Shinjuku District, he said.

What? I'm in Ikebukuro District right now. Never mind. Handle Remi for me. Head here as soon as possible. I pictured the theater in my head. I'll contact you if necessary. Then I cut the connection between me and Fushiguro.

I jumped down the building. It's quiet here. Even if there's a ton of players around Shinjuku. I pressed my lips into a tight line.

I sighed then entered the grim theater.
