Note: This does not take place on the same day when Beomgyu called his acquaintance. I'll jump to a day after, making it two days when he called that mysterious person.
"A letter? No, I haven't received any letter two nights ago. Why?" Jeongin asked, closing his history book.
The two boys were at the cafeteria, since it was their free time and Jeongin begged the blonde to help him in his history essay.
Taehyun shook his head, "Nothing. It's just that Beomgyu-hyung and I received a letter two nights ago. And some of my acquaintances did too, so I was wondering if you might have one also."
The latter shook his head. "No, not really. Why do you ask? Is it something dangerous?"
Taehyun was about to open his mouth when he remembered his conversation with Beomgyu last night.
"A letter?"
Beomgyu nodded, handing Taehyun the letter he found on his drawer. With the help of his acquaintance.
"I found this inside my drawer," he lied.
Unfolding the letter, Taehyun silently read it with his eyes. After a moment, the younger lifted his gaze to Beomgyu. A worried look was painted onto his gorgeous features.
"You're being threatened?"
Beomgyu was taken aback by the youngers' assumption, shaking his head, he chuckled. "No sweetcheeks, I'm not being threatened. Well, it would've been okay if that letter was only for me." he says, tone dripping in all seriousness.
"W-What do you mean? Are you saying that the letter was addressed to the both of us?" Taehyun asked.
"Unfortunately," Beomgyu sighed, looking out off the window. "I called an acquaintance of mine, and asked her about the letter. And it turns out, she too, received one, and her dorm mate. But that's not the only thing. She also told me that almost everyone in the campus received one too. But she couldn't narrow down to how many." he lied again.
"But, isn't the student council doing something about it?" Taehyun asked again.
"Surprisingly no, the SC committee hasn't done any action on it either. According to my brother, the president told them that it isn't necessary to investigate a possible prank. Huh, who would've thought THE Choi Soobin is slowly becoming a lap dog," Beomgyu jested, though it clearly wasn't a joke.
"But what about your acquaintance? Does she believe that it's just a prank?"
The brunette hummed, pretending to think. "Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't. Who knows what she thinks about it. All that matters to her is that she gets some delicious information out of any scope she gets her hands on. She'll even squeeze it out if she wants to."
"She sounds like a very meticulous person," Taehyun commented.
The older waved him off. "Nah, the term info-hungry might be the right choice of words to fit her. Anyways, enough about my acquaintance." Beomgyu looked over his shoulder, and asked.
"What do you think about the letters Taehyun-ah?" Beomgyu stared at the youngers' doe eyes. Allowing himself to be sucked into its very own galaxy.
Taehyun bit his lip. "I don't know, I mean there's a possibility of it to be a prank-" he bit his lower lip again. "But I don't think whoever sent the letters would even bother sending almost everyone in school a letter if it's just a some childish prank-"
