Kouvr had come out and told him Nessa was ready to see him. She stayed in the waiting room updating everyone else and reassured them they'd get to go in next. Josh walked into the room and the moment he saw his daughter in Jaden's arms, he broke down.

Jaden: "Do not take another step unless you are prepared to not walk away."
Nessa: "Jaden, it'll be okay."
Jaden: "You're right, because I'm not going to tolerate anything less for her."
Josh: "I'm not wasting a single moment of my daughter's life. I'm making this right... now."
Jaden sighed and Nessa nodded. Jaden laid the baby in Josh's arms gently: "Emma, this is your Daddy."
There were tears pouring down Josh's face as he gently tried to reposition his daughter without waking her. He sat down next to Nessa and she smiled: "We did it. We're parents."
Josh: *in awe* "No, you did it. You really did this."
Jaden nodded at Nessa and then left to go get Mads and her sister to give Josh and her a few minutes but still warned: "I will be back."
Josh: "Nessa, I'm so sorry for everything I've ever put you through but I promise you I'm not going to leave again. I don't want to miss a single moment of her life. I can do this... everything I've been fighting for the past few months has been all for her."
He leaned over and kissed her sweetly. She didn't stop him because she knew that he didn't mean it to pressure her. It was simply an overwhelming moment filled with the love they felt for what they'd made together.
*END JOSH'S POV*
You and Mads were allowed in next to meet baby Emma. Jaden led you down the hall and and soon as you tiptoed into the room you were shocked to see Josh holding the baby and just staring at her completely infatuated with her. You hugged Josh and he passed the baby to your arms gently. It was so sweet to see how delicate he was handling her. His tear stained cheeks showed a side of him you'd always hoped was in there. You knew some girl someday would change him, but you never imagined it'd be his daughter.
Mads cooed at the baby as Jaden took her out of your arms so you could check in with Nessa. She updated you on how awful childbirth was. After you heard the entire horror story, you decided to spill: "Ness, Cynthia is actually in the waiting room. She rode over with everyone and stayed in the waiting room this whole time. She must really like you."
Nessa: "Oh God, I can't face her looking like this."
Josh: *taking the baby back in his arms and smiling at Nessa* "I'll walk the baby to the nursery for the tests the Dr mentioned and that way you can rest or ... do whatever you need to do."
He looked back and smiled: "And Nessa... You look absolutely beautiful. Whoever this girl is won't feel any different about you."
