*Mads POV*

She stumbled in the door with Jaden trying to keep her from falling up the stairs. They’d gone to Josh’s party in a hotel room and she’d gotten absolutely wasted. She stopped him at the top of the stairs and fell against the wall pulling him back with her. She pushed a kiss against his lips and he smiled as she burst into laughter mid-kiss.

He led her down the hallway as she fell into her sister’s room, accidentally. She made eye contact with a shirtless Chase who woke up suddenly at the noise. Jaden pulled Mads out and shut the door behind him after waving at Chase awkwardly.

Mads: “Wait, that was a boy in my sister’s bed… a not Josh looking boy.”

Jaden: “Shhh come here my little party girl, I think you’re seeing things.”

She was easy to distract as tipsy as she still felt. Her lips met his as he pushed her back against her own bed:
“Do you want me to wait till you fall asleep to leave?”

Mads: “No, stay, please. You never get to stay all night. With my parents gone it might be our only chance to actually sleep together after we… you know… sleep together.”

*END MADS POV*

You woke up blissfully unaware of the mayhem that burst into your room in the middle of last night and replaying every touch so intensely it felt like his hands were pawing at you all over again. You rolled over with a smile and curled into his chest as he started to stir:
“Mmm- Good morning, baby.”

You: “You stayed?”

Chase: “I was too tired to leave after, I’m sorry.”

You: “No, no. I loved waking up to you. I- I’m just surprised, I guess.”

Chase: *kissing you gently*
“I’m not him. You understand that, right?”

You pulled him back down to your lips:
“Remind me again.”

You laid back, still exhausted from the night and thoroughly good morning. You watched as Chase sat at the edge of your bed putting his shoes on. The muscles in his back tightened as he pulled the knot tighter. You couldn’t help but crawl across the bed and wrap your arms around him from behind. You pressed kiss after sweet kiss on his neck and shoulder before he turned enough to pull you into his lap.

Chase: “Baby, I’m not gonna be able to leave if you keep kissing me like that.”

You: *giggling*
“Ah Ha! My master plan has been found out.”

Chase: “Your parents are gonna be home sooner than later and the last thing I need is to meet them half dressed in your room. Plus, I kinda have plans with Anthony today.”

You: *giving him one last kiss*
“Okay. Okay. You win. But call me soon, okay?”

You laid back in bed after he was gone, replaying every single moment since he brought you home. Just hours before at the dance seemed like a whole other lifetime. The teasing, the dancing, the fighting with Josh… Oh God. Josh.

You never actually thought about your first time much, to be honest but you’d always assumed eventually it would be Josh

You never actually thought about your first time much, to be honest but you’d always assumed eventually it would be Josh. Now it’d happened and the boy you shared it with wasn’t even your boyfriend. Was Josh even your boyfriend anymore?  He’d said the words that he was done. Sure, he’d threatened that many times before but you’d always worked things out. All you knew for sure is you didn’t want that anymore. With Josh it was always something you dreaded just looming over your shoulder. He pushed and begged and sometimes even guilt tripped you into giving it up before you were ready, but the truth was you always doubted if you’d ever be ready and then one night with Chase and you were the one begging to hand it over.

You didn’t have time to feel any guilt or worry about that. You needed to find Josh and make sure this toxic back-and-forth was done for good. You stood outside of Josh’s front door for 5 minutes after the last knock. His jeep wasn’t outside even though it was still early so you climbed back into your car before you risked his creep of a father answering.

You dialed Jaden’s phone, assuming he’d know where to find Josh and were shocked to hear Mads answer considering it was barely 9am:
“Hey, sis!”

You: “Mads? I was trying to find Jaden to see if Josh was with him. Are you with him?”

Jaden: *taking the phone*
“Hey, we were at the party he threw at the hotel but we came back to your house late last night.”

You were a little surprised that your little sister had spent the night with Jaden. You didn’t know they were that serious. You hung up and started driving to the hotel Josh told you he’d booked for the two of you. He must have decided to throw a party after being rejected but nothing could prepare you for what you walked in on.

You had let yourself in the room after lying to the front desk about forgetting your key and sucked in a deep breath as you noticed that in spite of Josh being nowhere to be found, there was someone too small to be Josh, curled up in the blankets

You had let yourself in the room after lying to the front desk about forgetting your key and sucked in a deep breath as you noticed that in spite of Josh being nowhere to be found, there was someone too small to be Josh, curled up in the blankets. You dropped the keycard on the cable, letting the door slam behind you as the lump under the covers groaned awake in a soft feminine voice.

Nessa: “Where am I? Oh geez, is it morning?”

You: *sounding more hostile by the syllable*
“YUP! Do you want to explain why you’re in the hotel bed Josh rented for me?”

Nessa: “What are you talking about? I don’t even know how I- Oh my God! Where are my clothes.”

You: *tossing her the t-shirt on the ground*
“So you sleep with my boyfriend and then play dumb about it? You have a lot of nerve!”

Nessa: “I didn- I don’t know. I was at the party and I was drinking… a lot. We all were. I remember him kicking people out and then- Oh God!”

You: “You deserve each other!”

You slammed the door a second time, this time as you stomped down the hall towards your car hoping your tears waited until you were alone.
