Jane was seated on the couch and Jim pulled a chair in front of her.
He had drove Max home a few hours prior.
"Are you ready to tell me what you saw?" He asked Her as she looked down and started to nervously play with the hem of her shorts.
"It's okay, I can tell it scared you. But I need you to tell me so I, WE can do something about it. You understand?" Jim asked Jane softly. She looked up at him slowly and nodded.
"Lana was trying to get away from Billy... but....He got her. He.. He choked her..She wouldn't wake up...I tried to wake her up..." Jane choked out as tears formed in her eyes. Jim looked at her with concern.
"Billy didn't look like himself. I shouted and he looked at me....Lana tried to run and He grabbed her and..." Jane stopped, her voice cracking while tears started to stream down her face.
"And what Jane?" Jim asked her worriedly.
"Billy killed Lana just like Anthony killed Gavin."

Jim just stared back at Jane in shock, at a loss for words. Jane hugged him tightly as she sobbed. Jim could just embrace her and try not to cry himself.
"Shhh, it's alright. We aren't going to let that happen."
"You promise?" Jane asked Jim
"I promise." He told Jane softly. Jim tried to hold back his tears.
