"I see why Lana loves you so much."

Lana and Billy were seated in the all familiar waiting room.
She was six months pregnant and prominently showing.
Her bump was very visible at this point.
They were hoping this time they would find out if their baby was a girl or boy.
The suspense was eating at them both.
Lana reached over and found Billy's hand.
He smiled softly at Her.
After waiting for nearly fifteen minutes a nurse opened the door that led to the examination rooms.

"Lana Woods?"

Billy helped Lana up and they followed the nurse to a room.
The anticipation was almost too much for the both of them.
The nurse did the usual routine and afterwards made sure the Ultrasound machine was ready to go.
Billy clicked his teeth out of nervousness and Lana glanced over at him reassuringly.
He smiled gratefully at Her.

"Doctor Whitley will be with you shortly."
The nurse told Lana warmly and left the room.
Billy stared over at Lana.

"I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack."
He muttered out and she just smiled gently at him, proceeding to lay against the table.

"Me too. But that's okay."
Lana murmured and instantly Billy felt a sense of calmness overcome him and knew it was Lana's doing.
He sighed in relief, leaning back in his chair.

Now to wait for the Doctor.

It had felt like Ages, When in reality only Thirteen minutes had passed by when Doctor Whitley knocked on the door and came in smiling brightly.
Billy instantly sat up straighter.

"Todays the day!"
The doctor said brightly to Lana, dimming the lights.
She proceeded to put on gloves.

"Have you been feeling the baby kick yet?"
